Are bean and lentil proteins good for building muscle? Posted on April 12, 2023 by Anonymous Are bean and lentil proteins good for building muscle?
Not the best, but if they are a substantial source of plant protein. If you are pursuing fitness as opposed to bodybuilding or powershitting just watch your calories.
no because they are incomplete (lacking different types of amino acids)
literally just drink milk
What about the mRNA they are injecting our cows with now? Haven’t bought milk since last week I’m fucking pissed
the vaccines were contagious, it's been over for a while
im not a schizo so it doesnt affect me
btw i hit 150 lbs ohp and 285 lbs bench this past month.
>Not buying raw milk from grass fed organic Jersey cows raised on an Amish farm 5 miles from your house
How do urbanites even get out of bed in the morning?
raw milk and red meat are unhealthy
spike protein is still protein, so counts toward your macros
they don't need to be complete if you're eating complimentary proteins throughout the day
The same types of studies that show that feed animals bulk quickly on seed oils are also ones that recomend milk protein over legumes.
If you're concerned about health and longevity, then milk protein should be balanced out with cheese protein, legume protein or gelatin.
Drinking 1L of milk per day contributes 1.0g of cysteine more than if an equal amount of cheese protein was eaten.
Excess methionine + cysteine impairs liver functions, causes inflammation, reduces glutathione levels and accumulates in the body with age, being an excellent predictor of cardiovascular disease.
Methionine restriction is actually one of biggest leads in longevity research.
But okay, if you want to bulk like a feed animal, go for it.
Sure if you eat them with meat and vegetables
They are amazing if you treat them as a carb source because then the protein is like an extra bonus on top. If you try to rely on it for protein & you're cutting, youll go over your caloric limit before you get enough protein. It might be enough on a bulk if you eat zero junk.
fine, enjoy the braps tho
Yes just have rice too, ezpz
Check out PDCAAS. It need value of 1 to be a full protein
Only relevant if you're a feed animal trying to gain +400% body weight in 6 weeks, or you're a starving african that consumes 40g of protein per day.
People who eat 100+g of protein a day, especially if they have daily animal protein intake, don't have to worry about it.
neither beef nor chicken have a value 1, are you saying they are not full protein lol
Yeah, but those are almost full protein(very close to 1).
t. someone who did 10mins of research and filled holes in his own knowledge with intuition
Nope, get a protein shake along with it you'll be fine
