>Lmfao, you must have been pathetically weak if an ab-roller 'hit your abs' and 'made you sore'.
lets see a video of you doing just a single rep of standing ab wheel rollout. I doubt you can even do a few proper reps of the kneeling one
this statement is unbelievably moronic even from the perspective of basic physics. you're obviously a literal dyel without any fundamental lifting knowledge. please list the ab exercises you consider more difficult than the standing ab wheel rollout, so everyone can laugh

Obviously fat middle age women aren't going to start out with standing ab wheel rollouts, it's going to take them a few weeks to get to that.

as I said, list more difficult replacements, or do just a single standing ab wheel rollout and post the video. this is getting so cringeworthy it's painful to read

True, but not for the reason you think.
I've used one regularly (6 x 15 / workout) since covid lockdown and they do strengthen core and also are considered a *full-body complex exercise*: on forward push (abs plus chest triceps delts) and reverse pull (abs plus lats glutes) movements.
Any other anons have positive experience with abs wheel for core etc.?
>positive experience with abs wheel for core
Yes. I like it, hits abs nice. I use it when I can't get to gym. Key is to work on correct form, and don't go all the way down until you've mastered it.
Hanging weighted leg raises and hanging lateral leg raises in the 6-12 hypertrophy range is literally all you need for abs.
And no, doing compounds don't give you big abs.
I've loved my ab roller personally, my only gripe being that I've gone from struggling to do sets of 5 to now doing sets of 20 with less exhaustion in very very little time.
What color are you using? I was a similar case and found switchng from yellow to blue was the ideal increase in difficulty to get me from 20-25 reps back down to 5-8.
Oddly I still can't do one clean from standing. Remember to maintain mild anterior pelvic tilt/slight hollow body to protect the spine and don't roll up with your lats or hips, instead make the scarey halloween cat on the way up.
They cost like $10 and murder your abs. Very worth it. My mother got me one for Christmas because she knows I like fitness. Thanks, mum. I much prefer using an ab roller to any other ab exercise.
i've experimented with every ab exercise and i believe hanging leg raises (and its variations) are the best exercise, with the ab roller coming in second. but i might not be using the ab roller optimally, it can be tricky to perfect
It is a serious exercise you should see it as an "anterior Chain" exercise , you should start light with these on knees wit limited range and very low reps.
Did some rollouts as usual at the end of my workout today, but had to stop after a couple reps because i had a kinda painful tight feeling in the top left part of my abs. Anyone ever experience this? I still kinda feel a tightness there, hoping i didn’t frick my shit up.
No, ab-rollers are tv infomercial tier mom shit
wrong, ab rollers hit my abs more than any exercise to be honest. my abs were sore for 3 days when i first tried it.
Lmfao, you must have been pathetically weak if an ab-roller 'hit your abs' and 'made you sore'.

Calm down homosexual it's a just gimmick exercise device for fat moms.
if it were a gimmick exercise device for fat moms it would only be purcahsable via a daytime tv advert and would cost 10 payments of $14.99 not $15

have a nice day
>still haven't posted abs
AHA! THE circus IS IN TOWN
>t. morons who haven't figured out how to use it

Decent lat workout with some isometric ab loading. Like a plank crossed with a pulldown. A meme.
>Decent lat workout
so you don't know how to use an abwheel

Hanging leg raises are GOAT anon
> trains your abs.
It's not bad tbh. Its a good question if leg raises or ab rollers are more effective. I have the feeling ab rollers have the edge
i feel like ""ab rollers"" would hit your lats more, in a pullover type movement, right?
i prefer leg raises or flutter kicks

They wont frick your spine if you don't hyper extend your back and brace
i've experimented with every ab exercise and i believe hanging leg raises (and its variations) are the best exercise, with the ab roller coming in second. but i might not be using the ab roller optimally, it can be tricky to perfect
You'll be perfectly fine if you start with the right color wheel
Hanging leg raises and dragon flags are all you need.

I almost snap my back with this shit, avoid at all costs
How is that even possible? You lose your brace and like, bend into a u shape or something?
He let's his back sag slightly would be my guess.
i do it kind of tilted one way because my abs are uneven and doing it that way lets me activate the shorter side

>I've heard situps frick your spine
Ive never heard a person whos fit claim this. Ive done situps, and twist ab crunches had no back issues
Just use a medicine ball, you probably have one or something of the equivalent.
EVERYTHING fffs you up if done too often or hard
do leg raises lying flat on a bench, and your ass at the edge so your legs never touch the bench.
just be sure to use a hollow postion
but at this point just do hollow postion training

Situps have also been proven to be not as effective as crunches.
Dude do't use the blue one. That will frick you up.
Only the red one should be used and can give you proper results.
