Poor posture is almost always due to weak core strength from sitting down all day.
Does this look like a good routine to fix weak core
>leg raises 4xF
>Russian twists 3x20
>planks 4xF
Done three times a week
Add flutterkicks
Do the planks starting at 30s and add 10 each week
Do 5 leg raises emom
Going to failure immediately is a good way to never want to do a workout again.
this seems like good stuff but holy shit this guy is ugly. and his gay hand gestures are also stupid.
3/10
I get where you're coming from but he's alright
Its probably good for everyone to try new movement patterns every once in a while. Try some stuff, see if it works for you if you've got problems. Look at yourself in the mirror to check if anything seems out of whack
All dyels giving misinformation.
post body
>fixes your posture
Bad posture from sitting.
Correct it with a sitting excercise.
Are you for real?
How do I solve nerd neck? I have a weird bump in the back of my neck and not matter how straight I stand my neck isn't straight as it should
You mean your vertebrae prominens? That's supposed to be there
Good if you don't have gym access. Otherwise DLs, squats, and hyperextensions fixed my posture after high school.
don't lump this dude in with the rest of the zoomzooms, hes actually cool
>is stretching legit or a waste of time
god fucking dammit, you zoomers are completely brain dead.
Honestly I'm someone who does more stretching then most people but if you're someone who only does heavy strength training and zero stretching you're gonna be so fucked up after a few years so yea it's a good idea.
No stretch will ever fix your posture. It's not a flexibility issue. You're just weak.
I've never heard any bad fitness advice or false promises from Hampton. You won't go wrong listening to him.
idk but what instantly works is leaning against a wall with the back of your head only, for like one minute at a time, when you stop you'll feel as if your head is pulled back
>does stretching help u
Yeah, no fucking shit. Also do face pulls.
dead bugs, bird dogs, planks… what else?
Posture is context dependent.
If it doesn't cause pain, it's not a problem.
Lifting with good form with good ROM under good control is the best "posture" corrector known to mankind.
Exercise and stretching aren't that relevant. Muh core strength this and that is marketing cope. Ever wonder why posture progress pictures are always disappointing? It's because the key to good posture lies in mannerisms and habits. You actively need to force yourself to have and maintain correct posture. Indirectly this will also lead to the required core strength. Once you're doing this, then additional exercise can help, but that's what it is: supplemental. "Just get IST bro" won't lead to good posture by itself.
Facepulls actually fixed my posture. Thanks athleanx
I think stretching and some posture exercises do help with posture but I mostly added them in the morning because it actually feels good. It's a nice start into the day and it helps with my back pain, too. I do a fully body stretching routine though, takes me 20 minutes.
