    Don't do REALLY fricking heavy weights, if that is what you are doing. It's taxes the physiology and this will reflect in the physiology/psyche interface and the psychic qualia that you experience. Just get strong. And don't do endurance running either. These things are for people with very strong constitutions, and it's even damaging to them. Just do some moderate cardio and get functionally strong. Get a wrestling dummy or a 6 foot muay thai bag and throw it around. You will need this strength in a street fight, potentially. Take a 16 lbs bowling ball and throw it over tree limbs like the keg toss. Spar with people if you are not a loner, obviously. Not to talk down to you, as if you are not already doing many of these things. Do some deadlifts for like 225 (lbs). And squats for 225. Just light. You can even bulk at those weights, just wait a long time between work outs, like 2 weeks. And then you will get the delayed onset muscle soreness and the hyper trophy with out even having to stress the CNS, as happens with the heavier weights. Get sleep. Vit D (sun), even in the winter when the sun is barely even visible, let the sun hit your skin. This is why we of the North were created to be so fair skinned. And the eyes are blue because this is better for defending against seasonal depression. Brown eyed people get more depressed in the North. Something about the photo protectiveness of the melanin in their irises. Eat nutrient dense food. ect. What ever you coom frequency, be it by fapping or fornicative means, lessen the frequency. This will give you vigor. Be excellent and positive in thought. Hail Victory, if you are an actual Swede and not a racial alien enemy.

    MY friend, self improvement is:
    1.) Taking care of your mind
    2.) Taking care of your body
    3.) Learning a skill
    4.) Applying that skill to make life better for yourself and for those around you

    You're only focusing on one aspect. Find something tangible that you want to do. Technical skills are a good start because you can teach yourself to build things. If you want to do right brain things like art, make sure your art has a message that it is trying to convey. Read older books. They contain tons of useful information that you can't learn anywhere else. Also, learn things the hard way. You'll learn faster and be more resilient to struggles.

    6 weeks isn’t really long enough dude. Give it 6 months. It needs to become a habit so the hatred goes away, and you eventually start to enjoy it, or at least not mind it. You get to the point where you feel happy sticking to your routine and seeing improvements. It takes time, be patient and power through.

Depression robs a lot of brainpower and the most effective way to distract your depression is to let an activity steal that brainpower back and put it into progress.
