Can i just avoid squatting forever and still get big legs?

I hate how the bar feels on my traps. the whole position is rather uncomfy for me. im sure my form is part of the problem.

Can i just do bulgarian split squats, leg presses, goblet squats, etc and get same results as a barbell squatter?

      i find RDLs to be pretty good for building my ass. i do single leg rdls.

      This. I don’t have disc issues but my sciatic nerve is fucked up any time I do anything that requires me to get low. I have huge legs, only downside is I’m insanely inflexible

    squatting is THE BEST strength ans mass builder for legs, but it's not the only way to build legs

    Barbell squats are the easiest, and at the same time the hardest way to get huge legs. When I was squatting 3 times a week doing SS my legs got so big they were chaffing together after just a few months, and I also got huge stretch marks all over my inner thighs. I don't think I can say you'll get the same results, because it'll probably take you a lot longer to get the size without heavy squats, but you could definitely get some good legs without doing them. No particular exercise is absolutely necessary, and if you find stuff you don't mind or even like doing you have more chance of sticking at it consistently. Do leg extensions too.

      Boys do squats. I have never seen someone over 25 or with serious mass do squats or deadlifts at my home gym. In my uni gym, all the fat powershitter bloatlords squat.

    heavy squatting is the shittiest thing you can do. literally 100% chance of lingering injury.
    either do high volume atg squats, or just machine it.

    >narrow stance, high bar, ATG
    >slow eccentric, pause at the bottom, spend minimal time at lockout
    >belt + weightlifting shoes + if lower back rounds at bottom use more heel elevation
    >moderate to high reps
    >optionally front squat instead (might want to ditch the pause at the bottom and maybe lower the reps)
    >optionally do 1.5 reps for even more difficulty

      I respectfully disagree.
      Proper squats should be done in bare feet on either a wood platform or dirt.
      Anything else disrupts your ki flow and you'll be heading to snap city without it

    You can. Bulgarian split squats are better muscle builders than back squats especially if you front load (still have to use a barbell though)

    >have had 2 back surgeries, most recent being a severe spinal cord one

    all of these things don't allow me to barbell squat or deadlift. I do other things for legs but it seems like they will never grow because of my limitations

    You don't need squats but not doing them because they're not comfortable speaks volume. Everything becomes uncomfortable at some or another..
