TRUST THIS ANON. I got myself shoulder impingement syndrome and I've had it for literal fricking months it takes AGES to get better and I'm not even lifting either, any inflammation in the shoulder creates a vicious circle of inflammation causing more rubbing on bones because there's barely any space there to begin with which reinforces the inflammation. Just take anti inflammatory meds and wait it out.
Well you are right, if you actually have a slight tare then if you hit it too hard it will come back. If it's just an inflamed tendon or some connective tissue then yes ot will heal. Lots of slow physiotherapy - slower the better. Tendons and all other connective tissue have very weak blood flow and modern diet has practically no collagen ( get that collagen granules that you make gell with ). There's if you fix doing what ever you did to cause tendinitis it won't come back ( ofc sooner or later you will hit it too hard)..
a year and if u keep being stupid - keep working out workouts that make ur shoulder hurt - forever
discovered that bent over lateral raises beat up bicep tendon - stopped it stopped after a week blew it up on bike trying to hop, whelp, at least i know how to do them raises not to get bicep inflamed now, but i won't tell u
i know how to fic bench also but i won't tell u either

do nothing but deadhangs for a while and mega dose curcumin
Had mine for 16 years. It never went away. I can't do dips and OHP. Good luck.
how did you guys hurt that area? after almost 2 years of lifting i haven't really had any issues thus far. but it's so common, im scared
Bad form on lifts, too much push exercises, not enough pull exercises, rounded shoulders and arch back from too much time on the computer, thrash genes
>18 >impinged shoulder
Oh shit my bad. Didn't think you were a shut-in, moronic zoomer that already has ruined his body before he can even buy ciggs or alcohol. Enjoy life being this moronic.
Not an amerimutt I've already smoked ciggs and drank alcohol. So, there is any way around this shoulder tendotinis or am I supposed to never work shoulders again?
>mobility training >targeted stretching >warm-up >greatly reduce bench weight (think major deload w/slower linear progression) >focus on correct form >focus on tightening back while simulateansly opening of chest >ice shoulder after each workout
If you don't like this then you can go pay a PT to diagnosis and charge you $40-60 a session 3x a week for the next 6 weeks.
I went the PT route. $300 a session until I hit my deductible. Then they tell you to never do shoulder exercises that puts your hand above your clavicle ever again or it’ll come right back.
This is all good info. I get flare-ups up shoulder pains right in the back when I lift my hands above my shoulders. Doesn't happen always but sometimes it comes back.
It's mostly when lifting but sometimes it stings when lifting my arm up.
yes. but please dont be moronic because you can easily aggravate the injury. take it easy, lower the weight, and do movements that aren't as painful.
DO NOT REST. i repeat. DO NOT FRICKING REST or it will get worse.
do these:
deadhangs, facepulls, reverse flies, banded external rotation, side lateral raises, pullups, rows.
do not:
bench heavy
press heavy
be a moron and just sit on your ass thinkin you'll magically recover
I think I'm gonna stick to basic rotator cuff exercises for this week (like banded external rotation). I already felt the most pain when I was doing lateral raises. I'm gonna try to do that next week with low weight, high reps. Oh btw is curling bad for the injury?
You need to learn the technique. To train shoulders optimal and safe you need to consider some aspects.
Also work on your scapula muscles.
You need to lot’s of research.
It has a reason why you have this problem and some one other not.
You need to solve the core problem otherwise you will struggle with this shit again and again
I know a guy that had a shitty shoulder till he got a job in landscaping.
Farmer walks where you start light and progress coupled with dead hangs might help.
If you want the pain to last even longer. Honestly I'd just not train Upper body for like a week at least. Tendons take forever to get deflamed
Nothing at all?

Alright thank you. Imma rest... AFTER THIS 2 HOUR UPPER BODY WORKOUT.
A week? Hehe.. HEHEHEHEH!! Try a month at least hahahaha. Tendonitis sticks around forever unless you are like 12 years old hahahahaha
I'm 18.
post the original pic pls

TL;DR yes you are right but not really

u r not worthy of my thoughts

Bad form on lifts, too much push exercises, not enough pull exercises, rounded shoulders and arch back from too much time on the computer, thrash genes
When you are doing pulling exercises you need to learn bringing the shoulder blades together otherwise will not undo the impact of pushing exercises
do nothing but deadhangs for a while and mega dose curcumin
>Welcome to getting older.
homie I'm 18

Just youtube 'Kneesovertoesguy shoulders' and do that routine
>mobility training
>targeted stretching
>warm-up
>greatly reduce bench weight (think major deload w/slower linear progression)

The pain came right back.
Shit. I think we are fricked for good man. How are you doing now? Still no shoulder workouts?
Congrats on the mistreatment. Go read bbm
When am I supposed to do these? Should I take a week off or more before training?
"workout" is a noun; you mean "work out".
eat shit, smarty pants.
thank you I hate how everyone does this stupid shit
Focus on forearms and core for upper body for like 6 months. Sorry buddy, just gotta make the most of it.
yes train everything but your shoulders

So I am supposed to lower the weight and keep training? It's too long, I can't read all of it.

How is that mobility, anon? Does it hurt? Or is it only when lifting, etc?
It's mostly when lifting but sometimes it stings when lifting my arm up.

I do. Every day of my god damn life. I usually just try to not be a pussy about it
Try lu raises
