Man, that always surprises me that guys can be ripped, making money, and mentally stable yet haven't got a partner yet. I found my GF and all I had going for me was mentally stability, and even that is probably not required. Now because I got a GF helping me organize, it's a lot easier to hit milestones in self improvement. Not saying any one way is better than the other, but what's the hold up for some people? Confidence in the gym doesn't translate to confidence with women and vice versa. You gotta work at both of them to get better.

10%ish. bf% looks different based on how much muscle mass you have. You need to add muscle to look better at this point, I wouldn’t cut any further. Bulk slowly and you won’t get fat and will actually look better as your weight goes up. Only if you gain slowly though.
I gain fat very easily though. What if I just increase the protein rich food intake like eggs, quark and meat, would not that help me build muscle or do I also need to increase calorie intake a lot?

I am 183cm and 83kg. Is this fricking normal, that i still have a belly so big? I dropped 4kg in the last two months. I plan on getting to at least 80kg but this is really fricking weird. When i am in my clothes i feel skinny and small. Btw, i run 3x a week and go to the gym 3x week (started 3 months ago). My lifts are also going down for some reason, even though i am trying to only cut around 500 daily and i make sure i eat around 130g of protein. Might be because i do too much, combined with running and calorie deficit i simply don't recover enough or something i dont know.

Grew up fat asf, been working out for about a year but not really managing my diet outside of just improving my overall eating habits ie. less sugar, only water, protein with every meal, fiber, better portions etc. Terrified to bulk ngl cause i dont wanna be fat again, muscles are weak as frick though.

judging from that pic, you are likely gonna have at least a little bit of loose skin over your stomach no matter how much body fat you lose

honestly as long as that's under your tdee it will work in time
but when I cut from 210lb to 195lb I did it in just shy of 2 months at 6'3, was hovering at 1600kcals (-800 my tdee) at least 5 days a week, cheated a bit on weekends as to not go insane, black coffee helped a lot
kept most of my muscle, definitely due to the proteins and near constant activity, drop the carbs you have now and replace it with a can of tuna and see how it feels hunger wise
you do get used to it, but being hungry is literally just burning fat, and by the time it's easy it's over, you just go back to maintenance and wahla, it's easier to keep that fat off for good

I was eating 1800 for a while, it was working but I was tired as frick. Everyone told me to go up to 2000 and eat more carbs, been doing it for a few weeks and feel kinda stuck at 180.
I took a BMR test and it was 2300, seemed pretty high.

I'm super disciplined so I can do it but I figured it would hurt my metabolism and lose muscle if too aggressive. My energy levels are better now, gaining strength in the gym, I'm still hungry, but bloated all the time from the extra carbs and scale isn't going down, only been 3 weeks tho, not sure if i should stick with it or go back to 1800

the whole "loss of muscle on a cut" thing is so overblown imo, especially by people on here that don't lift or have never tried cutting hard and lifting hard at the same time
I was 800 under maintenance for two months and my lifts still went up, slowed, but still went up, if you're in a deficit and still using your muscles, your body isn't going to just start burning through them instead of the extra fat you have just hanging around
and personally I'll take the -3% hit to my muscle mass for everyone around me to actually SEE every muscle on me
it comes back in like two weeks when you switch back over to maintenance anyway

Don't start a cutting.
Eat on your own maintenance caloric necessity line, 1g of protein for every lbs also.

Thats a problem. You need not only consistency in your routine, but you also need progress.

Anorexia can cause I wide range of metabolic disease, you should go to a medic general clinic first
Its also affects strongly the way you perceive food and your appetite. Go to a therapist to get correct medication also.
You should also try seek a nutritionist to have a proper adaptation from anorexia to a normal eating.
In mean time try learn to enjoy your meals, also aim for caloric dense foods to help you gain weight and recover you appetite

anytime I try working out for a long period of time I always injure something. first it was my shoulder, then I got elbow pain, then I tore something in my wrist, then a few weeks ago I hurt my back while OHP'ing and the pain kept creeping lower and lower down my spine until I got this horrible pain in my tailbone and couldn't even sit down on it for several days. so I'm really sick of trying now. plus I'm a skinny wristed gay that can't even put on much muscle natty even if I wasn't always injuring myself

I am 183cm and 83kg. Is this fricking normal, that i still have a belly so big? I dropped 4kg in the last two months. I plan on getting to at least 80kg but this is really fricking weird. When i am in my clothes i feel skinny and small. Btw, i run 3x a week and go to the gym 3x week (started 3 months ago). My lifts are also going down for some reason, even though i am trying to only cut around 500 daily and i make sure i eat around 130g of protein. but when I cut from 210lb to 195lb I did it in just shy of 2 months at 6'3, was hovering at 1600kcals (-800 my tdee) at least 5 days a week, cheated a bit on weekends as to not go insane, black coffee helped a lot
kept most of my muscle, definitely due to the proteins and near constant activity, drop the carbs you have now and replace it with a can of tuna and see how it feels hunger wise
you do get used to it, but being hungry is literally just burning fat, and by the time it's easy it's over, you just go back to maintenance and wahla, it's easier to keep that fat off for good

I was eating 1800 for a while, it was working but I was tired as frick. Everyone told me to go up to 2000 and eat more carbs, been doing it for a few weeks and feel kinda stuck at 180.

yeah cutting that hard will make you tired plain and simple, stimulants help, and so does intermittent fasting in a weird way, you do get used to it but it will always be there, that's why I cheated and ate much more on weekends, doing that for weeks straight is simply not feasible no matter how tough I think I am lol

My energy levels are better now, gaining strength in the gym, I'm still hungry, but bloated all the time from the extra carbs and scale isn't going down, only been 3 weeks tho, not sure if i should stick with it or go back to 1800
the whole "loss of muscle on a cut" thing is so overblown imo, especially by people on here that don't lift or have never tried cutting hard and lifting hard at the same time
I was 800 under maintenance for two months and my lifts still went up, slowed, but still went up, if you're in a deficit and still using your muscles, your body isn't going to just start burning through them instead of the extra fat you have just hanging around
and personally I'll take the -3% hit to my muscle mass for everyone around me to actually SEE every muscle on me
it comes back in like two weeks when you switch back over to maintenance anyway

anytime I try working out for a long period of time I always injure something. first it was my shoulder, then I got elbow pain, then I tore something in my wrist, then a few weeks ago I hurt my back while OHP'ing and the pain kept creeping lower and lower down my spine until I got this horrible pain in my tailbone and couldn't even sit down on it for several days. so I'm really sick of trying now. plus I'm a skinny wristed gay that can't even put on much muscle natty even if I wasn't always injuring myself
