Recently began working out lifting. 5'10, 226lb when I began. Calculator says 33% body fat. In 2 weeks already down to 218lb and noticing increased strength. Ordered Clen just to help but recently read it'll do nothing for people with high bf%. Did I waste my money? Should I just stay the course naturally?
If your diet is good then you will speed up fat loss.
If you try to replace a shit diet with clen then it wont do much aside of make you get headaches, cramp and shake like parkinsons.
Clen really shines when you are struggling with lower body fat levels though as it fights back against your body trying to hold onto fat stores.
I've cut shit from my diet, processed foods, liquid calories etc. I'm not looking to get shredded just transform fat to lean muscle. It seems the excess weight leaves in the process
I would say, stay away from using any kind of drugs to alter the process right now.
You're still new to the whole thing, and you need to develop the healthy habits and lifestyle changes to keep yourself healthy for the rest of your life.
Clen should be used when you reach a point where you can't realistically make more progress without sacrificing too much in other areas of life.
Fat doesn't turn into muscle. Muscle building and fat burning are two separate systems. You're fat and new enough you can likely build muscle while you burn fat though
What BF% does Clen work on then?
From what I've read <20%. I've already ordered so I'll give it a try. I'm running caloric deficit, cardio, lifting. We'll test the theory. I got in shit shape following lower back surgery and change in work life.
Clean raises your BMR, won't you start losing muscle? Or do you just need to have high protein intake?
clen has an anticatabolic affect
Clen's affects on bf% are not worth the side effects imo. I tried a 6 week cycle about 10 yrs ago, and ditched it after a week. Felt like shit the entire time, couldn't stop shaking, be freezing cold but sweating profusely, couldn't sleep. Could barely even perform in the gym, the headaches and watery eyes were too much. I followed all the recommendations too, taking tyrosine with it, eating a bananas, no high intensity cardio... 0/10 would never recommend unless you're one of those bat shit crazy bodybuilding morons that aspires to be single digit body fat and make it a profession
Get your diet in check. You don't need clen to lose weight. You need discipline
>5'10
>226lbs
>33% bf
>33% of 226lbs is 75
>151lbs of pure lean mass day 1 without any training at 5'10
you were probably 40%+ bf when you started, natty bodybuilders are like 160lbs on stage at your height
I used to be fit. Surgery/laziness took its toll in my mid 30s. Now I'm 45 and looking to change. My son just turned 14 and lifts at home and school as part of the football team. He's 5'11 and 147lb. Our goals are entirely different but we work together here. Good bonding time as well.
>Taking drugs that kills people in their 20s at 45
Your son will soon grow up without a father and it'll be entirely your fault
This post was wholesome chungus 100 until I realized someone's dad is considering hopping on clen at 40% bf because he doesn't know what it's for. If your son ever asks about PEDs please just tell him drugs are bad because you're certainly not the one to dispense advice
Bodybuilders drop water, glycogen and muscle to reach stage lesnness, if they didn't have to go through that they'd be heavier
Lean body mass isn't just muscle, but yeah he's probably at a higher %
I'll stay the course I'm currently on and post back with results. I'll probably receive the clen in a couple weeks.
Use small doses of DNP instead, much more effective and there are very few side effects if you stick to something like 2 mg/kg of bodyweight/day.
>Inb4 it gives you cancer
No it doesn't, this bullshit has been debunked multiple times in animal studies
>Inb4 it gives you cataracts
Exclusively in females, also are easily fixable
>Inb4 you'll have a nice day
Only if you are an idiot and take a dose that's far too high.
>Eating a literal rat poison instead eating less
Kek
I wouldn't recommend it INSTEAD of eating healthy, but it sure does speed things up a lot if you are already eating healthily and working out (which is exactly what OP wants). I like to take it when I cut, because due to the fact that you're losing bodyfat much faster, the overall muscle mass loss is much smaller than when you do it normally. And I don't get how people can be pro steroids and other hormonal substances while simultaneously b***hing about DNP - it is a drug that was clinically used for decades and only taken off market because morons killed themselves taking doses that were far too high. There have been multiple animal studies which showed no long term organic damage even when taking nearly (acutely) fatal levels of it for years. The chances of causing significant damage to your body via DNP are much smaller than with stuff like Tren or Superdrol, honestly.
dnp is literal poison, and this is from someone who did 3 cycles of dnp. clen is infinitely safer
