What's your argument? I understand that bench and pushdown still involve longer head, that's why i said DIRECT. CG bench press is still a fricking combound that involves multiple muscles. If you do an exercise that targets it directly you'll just FEEL IT differently comparing to pushdown
What should I swap in instead of ropes twice?
I'd just add something like skullcrusher on your U1 day. I personally prefer cable kickbacks to skullcrushers and overhead tricep extensions though, less stressful for my elbow/shoulders
Cool, I honestly thought ropes and skull crushers hit the same thing, I'll switch it up and see how it goes, might check out the other exercises you mentioned and see if I can do them in my home gym. Thanks for the insight, anon
check out this vids by science manlet, he talks about tricep exercises, only 8 minutes long. A lof of people unintentially neglect long head work even though that's the muscle that makes your hands look big

I believe he means skullcrushers where your arms go behind your head. This is how you target the long head. If you just crushed your skull you’re not getting as much long head as you could by going all the way down to the floor
I have never done skullcrushers with that ROM, might give these a shot since I don't know if I can do the other cable exercises with my equipment. My rack has a lat attachment, but just a pulley at the very top and one at the very bottom
