Fyi I fasted twice for 10 days, twice for 5 days and a few times for 3-4 days over the past year or so.
It works way better than low calorie diets. All you need to do is start with shorter ones and work your way up, supplement magnesium, sodium, potassium and drink a lot.
Low calorie diets will literally just lower your basal metabolic rate and you won't lose any fat.
You need to feed saturated fat to your mitochondria so they produce succinate and multiply, so that the multiplied mitochondria can then burn the saturated fat in your body, while you get less hungry.
And you need to cut your sugar so your insulin stays low, insulin makes you grow fat.
And get rid of the fiber or you will shit out the nutrients before your body has a chance to absorb them.
The ketosis will also help with mental health issues and the absence of plants in your diet can fix autoimmune issues.
