I take preworkout ingredients every day I workout, only use a proper premade one on the weekend. For me it's 6g L-citrulline, 2.5g TMG, 3400mg beta alanine and 200mg of caffeine if I'm sluggish that day
I only ever use it during weekend lifts which are more intense than my weekday lifts when I need a bit of an energy boost with pumps and focus. Weekdays I lift after work so I use either a non-stim pre (no caffeine, mostly pump, focus, and endurance based ingredients) or nothing at all because I like enjoying my sleep. Even then I don't use stim junky pres with DMAA/DMHA or other borderline amphetamine stims in them. I've tested many of them and researched labels upon labels of ingredients and yet, I find myself avoiding caffeine usage, aside from the occasional morning tea/mate or of course weekend pre just to keep my tolerance low so it's always effective as the last time. Pic related has been my current go-to for a while (they changed the formula recently so had to stock up on the previous one). It is bad to take everyday yes, because you begin to develop a habit for it and you begin to need more so it hits as hard as last time and the long term effects of high stim usage is never good. Moderation is pretty much key to these kinds of things.
