Unironically true. I use to shit on calisthenics like most gymbros until covid, then i realized how much you can achieve with just calisthenics. If you cant muscle up you are unironically not fit
yeah, an adjustable dumbbell set i meant to say. db shoulder presses, lateral raises, rows, pullovers, curls and tricep extensions. put the weights in a backpack to add weight to your pushups/pullups/dips/etc. i'm personally not a fan of calisthenics skills, i prefer to just add weight to the basics above.
for legs: goblet squats/front squats, lunges/split squats, rdls, single leg calf raises with dbs in hand. once you max out the weights you have, just keep adding reps indefinitely. bodybuilder legs are way too big for aesthetics these days anyway, this is really all you need.

You can bulk with calisthenics if you have relatively large bodyfat percentage. Not obese but still somewhat overweight like skinnyfats and buildfats. If you are a skinnygay, weight exercise is needed.
