              Greenhouse gases are very much real. IR is emitted by the earth when it is heated by the sun, which warms the atmosphere and dictates atmospheric temperature. When this is out of equilibrium from excess IR absorbing gas, you can create adverse cascades like ocean temperature rise that leads to more gas release (H2O, and CH4 clathrates, namely), ocean acidification from dissolving CO2, erratic precipitation, etc. In fact, all of these things also exacerbate what you're talking about... heavy metals leaching (1C ocean temp rise is associated with 30% increased heavy metals in fish) and UV/heat plays an important role in plastic degradation.

              One can argue that overdevelopment is a problem but you can't reverse entropy because quite frankly the affluent "white people" you speak of also rely on that development to live out their lavish lives, and to walk that back would also be against the general interest of continued intellectual evolution of the world. Destroying development certainly does not re-sequester the plastics back into petrol and mercury back into cinnabar, we need to develop solutions for a modern world considering the needs of evolving people.

                I eat "carnivore lite" and I've never felt healthier. 75% of my diet is meat - beef, chicken, pork, etc. I cook in olive oil and have moderate portions of Kale for vitamin C, and Basmati Rice for carbs - only a few tablespoons per day is enough.

                I only supplement with Vitamin D and high strength Fish Oil, because I don't like seafood.

    Lentils etc are just fiber and carbs, with a small amount of protein. If you have a good diet eating these will just make you shit out all actually useful nutrients quickly.
