Could somebody attest to the effectiveness of "fart yoga"? I heard it's specifically designed to make you release gas, and I want to try it because I suffer from bloating. Which makes me look skinnyfat even though I'm rather slim.

I'd fix up your diet before trying "fart toga"
I have already lowered carbs and salt (and FODMAP), helps somewhat but I still have hard belly at all times

You are supposed to increase intake of stuff that alleviates bloating like fermented food and fibre. Protein is really the only one where decreasing makes sense but of course this is IST. Also you will have better results doing stomach vacuums.
Fiber cause bloating. Fermented foods can cause bloating too but do help digestion in the longer run.

If you increase them abruptly, yes. And I think it's only one type of fibre, but that's not really relevant, the food generally has them mixed so it's not like you can separate the types unless you are a supgay. Whatever the case is, my point is introducing them to my diet reduced my bloat significantly.
I’m sure some people are different but eating any amount of fiber causes me bloating regardless of how quickly I introduce into my diet. I ate high fiber for years because that’s the conventional advice for bloating and constipation and it only made things worse. Once I removed all fiber from my diet, bloating and constipation were instantly gone. I feel infinitely better not eating fiber.
Strict low FODMAP basically instantly lowered my gas issues from ~100 death farts a day to 4-5 regular ones, less water retention and no bloating. It really works if the core issue is IBS.

I had lots of constipation and bloating until I tried an elimination diet. I suggest carnivore, it’s take up to 6 weeks for your body to get used to it but it was worth it for me. Then you can reintroduce foods one at a time and see what foods cause issues.

Stop eating foods that give you gas. Start taking gas reliving pills. Eventually you stop having that problem. For me it's bread. So now I look like a ketotard everytime I eat a burger bunless, but it saves me from 30minutes of trapped gas and loud farts
I hope there is a yoga studio in my city where they have combo hot yoga/fart yoga classes. I want to be in an enclosed in a hot, stifling space with a bunch of womens who are sweaty and brapping. Heaven.
