HELP PLEASE

I was obese but starved myself to skinny, now I want to build muscle but scared that I will just get fat again.
Is there a way of gaining muscle without bulking and being fat?

    I can never choose something normal.
    I used to be almost anorexic-tier (5'11 125lbs) now I'm on my way to be a powershitter (165lbs) but at least I can finally bench 1.5pl8 and I have no intention to stop gaining weight

    Yes. Just ignore the fatties on IST who literally believe that the fat on top of their muscle is muscle. You can gain muscle by eating at maintenance or even a small deficit as long as you get enough protein. The trick is cardio and a very good diet.

        Do you have fat genes? Like parents fat? A bulk doesn't mean get fat. You will gain muscle.

          no i dont have fat genes i was fat until 19 lost it and now 20 want to get muscle since I hate being weak.
          people went from not fricking with me to getting my authority constantly challenged when I got skinny.

        follow this, add or take away as you see fit, but if you want to gain muscle just life weights and start running miles

        Eat your maintenance calories (you should be getting enough protein) plus a bowl of ice cream at the end of the day. Easy.

    lift consistently (3-5 times a week)
    meet your protein intake goal (0.8gx lb of lean mass)
    limit refined sugars and fats
    do cardio
