        Thats why you have to supplement it with good forearm exercises like I said. Functional strength is only a prerequisite to hypertrophy and everybody knows this.
        Most of those guys dont lift and look more dyel than the average 2pl8er in your gym.

      They do resistance training, not volume or strength training. Also is easy as fuck to hold your bodyweight in a few fingers if you are 40kg.
