How do I get my body to this from my current sad skinny fat body?
Can this be done by home workouts only? My current stats are 5’6, 108lbs, bmi of 17.4. This tells me I’m underweight but I’m clearly fatty.
I had a phase of eating a lot of protein and doing exercise at home despite being vegetarian and I gained healthy weight. But then I felt fat so I was starving myself pretty much and now I am back to look skinny-fat and gross. Plz help.

>Cut first to lose body fat
>Bulk to gain muscle
>Cut again to reveal muscle
Takes between 1-2 years depending on where you start from.

If it was quick everyone would do it. Learn discipline and patience and you will get the physique you desire in time.
girl like you can do it in less time, you don't have all that much fat on you, but you have to keep at it consistently for a while, the time period is different for everyone so just make sure you take pics to track progress and listen to your body and you'll get there, it's process not a destination
There are 3 schools of thought with skinnyfat:
1. cut fat, then build muscle. So deficit, then surplus.
2. build muscle, then cut. So surplus, then deficit
3. Try to do both simultaneously. So deficit with high protein.
I've never seen 1 work. Pick whichever of 2 or 3 seems most plausible to you.

Part of your problem. Vegetarianism and Veganism are traps to make you small and weak. Most of the mass you gain on them is flab. You can get muscle with large amounts of supplementation. Unfortunately, the lack of dietary fat in the diets means that the supplements like protein supplements just turn to sugar which is either burned or converted into fat. The modern bodybuilding diets and bulk cycles likewise make you fat and then, unless you're on steroids, you're going to have problems with the meme cut diets instead. In essence, ignore the bad advice of modern nutritionists and bodybuilders. You only make progress on those diets through drug abuse. Go on Vince's diets instead.

you really don't have all that much body fat, consistently eat 500kcals under maintenance at least 5 times a week while working out and most of it will be gone in 3 months
OP do this if you want to look anorexic (which is what you'll be anyway if you eat even less than you do now, you look malnourished already)

From your photos, you don’t look too far away from this. Women I know IRL who look like this do meme fitness classes for their training and eat lightly. You can just go to free classes that gyms offer. Do a mix of spin classes and circuit training style classes. Outside the gym, walk a lot. For your diet, I think you should eat at around maintenance or maybe just below with a focus on protein. Aim for 1.5-2g of protein per kg bodyweight. You can probably hit this by just having a decent protein source with each meal and having a protein shake or two per day to supplement.
