How do you genuinely whiten these things without fricking up your enamel and causing damage?

How do you genuinely whiten these things without fricking up your enamel and causing damage? I'm lucky, I've had bad teeth hygeine but my teeth aren't too bad. I want to fix them up though. I've heard like a really small % of bleech ge like 3-5% for like 30 minutes at a time in some molds each day is good, but it seems like people don't really know the trick to it. Also making your teeth enamel stronger. Some say xylitol gum can reharden your enamel but haven't really seen a ton on this.

Don't listen to that guy, he doesn't know what he's talking about
        >start using homemade toothpaste
Unnecessary and potentially harmful, normal toothpaste containing fluoride is what you need. Instead of hydroxyapatite, normal toothpaste forms fluorapatite on the enamel which is more resistant to dissociation in the presence of acid (the actual process that drives dental decay)
The other guy may reply something along the lines of "hurr durr fluoride" but you can look up the role of fluoride and enamel, there's a lot of research on the matter. Generally its safe in the doses found in toothpaste. I could talk about it in more depth if needed.
Brushing with homemade toothpaste is not recommended as results would vary greatly depending on the ingredients. Any potential beneficial outcome from brushing with homemade toothpaste would likely only result from the mechanical action of brushing which would occur regardless of the presence of toothpaste, and the potential negative effects such as abrasion (which is irreversible). Brushing with abrasive ingredients e.g. activated charcoal may be used on occasion (I use once every few months) as they will make teeth whiter by removing surface stains and a microlayer of enamel. But using this every day would lead to heavier abrasion over time.

Eating apples will in no way whatsoever whiten your teeth.

Not consuming as much sugar is good advice though

tooth mousse (not ESL toomfoolery, it's a thing)

        this is legit

Generally the best way to keep your teeth white is good oral hygiene i.e. brushing 2x per day with electric toothbrush + fluoride toothpaste. You can get whitening with custom trays and bleach e.g. hydrogen or carbamide peroxide but you need to be careful not to overdo it as it can lead to sensitivity.
An alternative could be composite or porcelain veneers but the latter would involve removal of healthy tooth surface

Really though teeth are supposed to be a bit yellow and if the OP pic were my teeth, I would be happy.

          >yes use fluoride goy

Just a friendly reminder that dentists are actually brain surgeons and any work done on your teeth ultimately affects your brain.
That "healthy dose of flouride" doesn't mean shit when it's on a fast track to your pineal gland on the highway express.

Stop letting dentist's pick at, chemically douse, and remove your teethe. You are paying them to literally giving you a lobotomy. Ever had a headache after seeing the dentist? Now you know why.

            Anonymous

yeah this is completely moronic. Dentists are not brain surgeons. Well done, you posted a photo of the branches of the trigeminal nerve. Did you ever consider that all nerves lead back to the brain? Would you call a podiatrist a brain surgeon, because the nerves in the feet lead back to the brain?

Generally the only reason headaches and teeth could be linked is if you have TMJD and are a bruxist. But if you have that, thats not the dentist's fault.

Fluoride works topically at the interface of the oral cavity and the enamel, it does not get absorbed through your teeth and travel up those nerves lol.

Fluoride and the pineal gland - people like to say fluoride calcifies the pineal gland and I cannot find any evidence to support this. Calcification of the pineal gland happens to everybody as they get older and there is no evidence to suggest there are any actual negative effects from this.
Also I have looked at hundreds if not thousands of lateral cephalometric radiographs of children and adults (for ortho planning) and pretty rarely do I see a calcified pineal gland. And all of these patients have been receiving topical fluoride in some format every day since their first teeth erupted.

Dentists are just israelites larping as doctors

This is kind of true though lol I know a lot of dentists that think of themselves as doctors, imo until you work in a hospital setting e.g. in a maxillofacial rotation, dentists have not earnt the right to call themselves doctors

right, I agree, but once the damage is done and the patient has massive holes in their teeth, there's little else I can do for them apart from fill them and try to preserve the nerve if possible. I can promote oral health as much as I want but once the decay has reached a certain point there is little else you can do. I don't want to be spending all my time "fixing" teeth, its better to prevent decay/tooth surface loss before it happens.

Teeth aren't supposed to be pearly white when you're an adult. Anything to "whiten" them will likely be doing some kind of damage elsewhere.

The correct answer is Peroxide Whitening Gel from Amazon. You will need trays though - a retainer will also work. Just follow the instructions. You teeth will be very sensitive during the treatment. Also, don't eat anything that stains until a few days after the tratment
    Including coffee, wine, berries, etc.

Alternate method that will help some but not nearly as well... swish with hydrogen peroxide for a minute after you brush your teeth morning and night.

A lot of the negative effects of coffee come from other substances aside from caffeine too. It's antibacterial (nukes your gut microbiome) and neutralizes stomach acids, ruining your digestion.
It also weakens the mucosal layer of the stomach, which after a decade or two ends up causing stomach ulcers (from which you can DIE!).

There's a myriad of other ill effects from consuming this poison.
