Assuming your set takes 1 minute, you spend 15 minutes actually working out. That's approximately 5 minute breaks between each set.
You could cut down those breaks to 2-3 minutes and you'd be done in under an hour.
Back when I went with friends we'd show up at 11pm and stay for 4 hours. Now I'm just lifting with my step-dad and I'm out of shape so I'm getting a solid 45 minutes in and then I go home
>How long is your gym sessions typically, and how long do you rest in between sets?
About 2 hours, 6 days a week (day 7 is 2h cardio).
Rest? No rest, dropsets or supersets. Rest is after I get home.
I'm 34. Don't believe the le old meme.
45 minutes to an hour, usually 5-6 exercises with 3-4 sets each
rest around 2 minutes between each set, depending on its intensity (compound vs isolation, etc.)
My sessions last about 90 minutes but I'm only lifting for 60 of those, the other 30 are for the treadmill. I usually rest about 2 minutes between sets. Probably my best lifts are bench and OHP, 110kg bench and 75kg OHP at 76kg bodyweight
Well i train 4 times a week. Workout 1 and 2.
The workouts that involve deadlifts take me over 2 hours. The other workout takes me 1:30 hours if i do abs, otherwise about 1 hour give or take.
3-5 hours
rest 10 minutes for heavy compounds, cycle between accessories
About 90 minutes
Get out of the deadlift platform fattass, it's the only place I can do ohp and I actually have shit to do
How the frick do you waste that much time during a single workout?
by posting coombait on IST
1 hour to 1 hour and 20min
1 min per set
90 min
90 sec
90 minutes typically.
I'll do 5 exercises, 3x10 each.
Do the math on resting because I'm a brainlet/lazy.

>implying he just increased his rest time from 2m to 5m arbitrarily
Fricking DYELs man…
If you are resting 5 minutes for a set of 10 you are literally an 80 IQ ape
i watch speedruns while resting so it can be like 10 to 15 mins between sets, whole workout lasts about 1.5 hours (not including rest time)

About 2 hours, this include half an hour of cardio.
Rest 2-3 minutes between heavy sets. When I'm warming up only rest about 45 seconds between
As long as I fricking want motherfricker I’m not some Black person that people push around
1.5-2h 4 times/w
3-4 min on heavy compounds
2 min on isolations, but I mostly do super sets where I first rest 30 sec then 2 min
1~ hour, 3-5 mins for compounds, 2-3 minutes for isolations
3 hours, rest from 1 to 3 minutes. If I don't want to throw up from exhaustion by the end it was not a good workout
