Serious answer:i alternate 45 lb dumbells 3x8. Something I notice about curls is that size and bodyweight doesn't effect them that much comparedto other lifts. I see big and roided guys who are easily over 200 lbs barely curl more than me and I weigh 150 with food in my belly. Dudes with huge biceps and have been gyming for years rare curl more than like like 50 lbs tops.
It's easy to cheat on curls. I've seen skinny chic's throwing around some pretty heavy barbells while curling. They aren't getting the full benefits over them doing it right with less weight.
My arms have become stagnant and im not sure how to go higher now.
I only curl 15kg dumbells 6x3 about 2 times a week. I used to be doing 17.5 moving to 20 but since lockdown and a slow start getting back I lost strength in my arms.
The weird thing is the rest of my body didnt lose as much and I am past where I was pre lockdown in everything but arms. Am I moronic? Should I be doing more of the exercise? Should I lower reps and push to a higher weight faster?
u don't curl shit irl, that is unless u're in trade and half curling 50 kilos seems like viable option to move said thing, but max effort once in a while ain't enough
tldr: arms are not functional until u have them lol
I can reverse curl 120 lbs for 15. Sometimes I grab my 40 lb dumbells and just do hammer curls and tricep extensions to failure while I watch a movie or something. My arms look small.
Doing heavy curls is stupid and terrible for the elbows and also doesn’t benefit over doing lighter curls at higher reps which is much more sustainable.
Nothing. I curl nothing, had short curling episode when I began lifting, did nada. Ironically my bicepses grew when I cut out all curling from my training.
I suspect ring muscleups and straight arm gymnastic holds, mostly on rings.
I've seen videos of guys curling heavy dumbbells and they look pretty normal. They have biceps but they're not "godly" arms like Leroy Colbert or whatever.
109s
But hoping to get those numbers in the high 110s soon amirite anonski.
Last time I did 33lb (adjustable dumbbells are weird) in each hand for 2 sets of 10 and a set of 9
Never forget the 6 milligrams

While you were pumping zyklon b, he was pumping iron.
I do bodyweight curls.
Kvetches x failure
3kg but I do 150 a day
11kg for 30
>a israelite worked out today, did ~~*you*~~?
>steals your gains while you aren't looking
Finders keepers
2x7 88lbs
>compound intrests until failure
>jew
>preacher curls
The irony is rich like his banks
I do the HASfit 300 once a week. That's 6 different curl variations of 50 reps each with light dumbbells. Try it your arms will feel broken for days.
