how to fast?

I weigh 168 pounds and I am 5,10. I'm not chubby per say but my abs aren't visible. I was hoping to lose some weight through fasting, do any anons have any tips or strategies? I would be very grateful.

    not even a bit of definition?? I'd recommend bulking, 168 on a 5'10 frame is pretty small, I'd bypass trying to get lean for more muscle then cut down to a more sensible weight

      my biceps have good definition but my lower abs is just a little flappy. I do abs a lot too so its kind of sad. I think I just need to lose a bit more weight.

            I doubt he's 5'9, probably 5'7-5'8 with. Even if he was 5'9 he has a unique frame/insertions that makes him look significantly bigger than he is

    Need a lot more information. Bodyfat%, what's your recommended calorie intake, lifestyle and even more. Have you bothered trying a recomp?

      I go to gym 3 times a week. Recommended Calorie intake was 1900 Calorie per day when I took a quiz on this app to tell me how much Calories a day I should eat. I have never done a recomp, is it a meme or does it actually work?

        Recomp isn't a meme if you do it right. Train right, eat loads of protein (2g/kg of bodyweight minimum) and take it slow .5kg per week or less, that's the only way you'll maximize muscle growth during a cut

        you're too skinny to do long term fasts. Those are for ham planets.
        You can do intermittent fasting or just skip meal occasionally.

      just don't eat for x amount of days lmao
      try fasting for a day then eating "normally" for the rest of the week and see how you react
      if that feels okay then up it to two, etc.
      you can lose about 4-5 lbs of fat in a week if you fast for 7 days straight and a bunch more from water weight
      you'll definitely lose some muscle too but you should be able to get them back after a while
      you should work out like you regularly do at a much lower intensity to prevent too much muscle loss
      you'll feel pretty weak though so expect your lifts to be pretty bad during this period
      drink black coffee and add electrolytes to your water when you start to feel like shit
      try to keep busy during this period to get your mind away from food

      Okay here you go.

      Only eat if you are actually hungry.
      No snacks.
      Only real meals with nutritional value.
      Skip breakfast. (something I do, can also skip lunch or dinner instead)
      Move that fat body every day

      Boom, you're fit. I will never understand why people have so much trouble not being fat. All it takes is being honest with yourself and showing some discipline.

        Skipping breakfast is a bad idea for fat c**ts. They lack impulse control and will just binge.

        Fat c**ts should have a high protein breakfast like omelette and then two small meals for lunch and dinner.

    dude i am 5'10 216lbs... you do not need to fast, just eat leaner meals and do consistent cardio. you will put on MUSCLE WEIGHT... comes with the work.
    i on the other hand, could fast, but i will enjoy my familys cooking while theyre alive

    Don't eat for 3-5 days, then eat a huge ass meal and work out as hard as you can
    the most important part of a fast is how you break it
