not even a bit of definition?? I'd recommend bulking, 168 on a 5'10 frame is pretty small, I'd bypass trying to get lean for more muscle then cut down to a more sensible weight
my biceps have good definition but my lower abs is just a little flappy. I do abs a lot too so its kind of sad. I think I just need to lose a bit more weight.
but do you have abs when you flex in good lighting? If so then bulk 100%, if not still bulk cuz you're small af

I go to gym 3 times a week. Recommended Calorie intake was 1900 Calorie per day when I took a quiz on this app to tell me how much Calories a day I should eat. I have never done a recomp, is it a meme or does it actually work?
Recomp isn't a meme if you do it right. Train right, eat loads of protein (2g/kg of bodyweight minimum) and take it slow .5kg per week or less, that's the only way you'll maximize muscle growth during a cut

if that feels okay then up it to two, etc.
you can lose about 4-5 lbs of fat in a week if you fast for 7 days straight and a bunch more from water weight
you'll definitely lose some muscle too but you should be able to get them back after a while
you should work out like you regularly do at a much lower intensity to prevent too much muscle loss
you'll feel pretty weak though so expect your lifts to be pretty bad during this period
drink black coffee and add electrolytes to your water when you start to feel like shit
try to keep busy during this period to get your mind away from food

dude i am 5'10 216lbs... you do not need to fast, just eat leaner meals and do consistent cardio. you will put on MUSCLE WEIGHT... comes with the work.
