    I did a 4 day lifting program for highschool football and it gave results but I think I'm switching to ppl to give that a try. Arnold schwatzaBlack advocates for working the same muscle group twice a week

      4 day PHUL is the only good one
      Tho its not as good as the others. Either do a six day ppl or a 3 day barbell LP

      I don't think I can get maximum gains from so much volume, I need real rest days.
      3 Days full body is too little though.
      Which PHUL is best? is two strength days and two hypertrophy days enough?

        You need to learn how to periodize your training. Take a deload week then do 6-8 weeks of strength training. Then another deload week and 6-8 weeks of volume accumulation at higher rep ranges. See how you feel then. Don’t program hop per se but you do have to intelligently change things up and plan it out.

    You don't have to be rigid with the title of the day. You can DL on the first upper day or on the arm day if you think it's not enough leg work.

    >Mon push
    >Tue pull
    >Wed leg
    >Thu rest
    >Fri push
    >Sat pull+leg
    >Sun rest
    Maybe replace second push, pull and leg with ine fullbody

    I do a 4-5 day routine (depending on my work) that's just picrel + 1-2 days where I walk on the stairmaster instead of lifting.
    Cardio is good for you.
