EAT MORE SALT. Low sodium diets are more dangerous and deadly than high sodium diets.

What else have the israelites been hiding from us?
More than you could possibly know.
Poland wasn't won because they had inferior equipment and stronger soldiers, quite the other way around, Poland was outdated af and still used fricking cavalry.
French were destroyed because they literally forgot to defend a single stretch of their border that allowed ease of access for the German troops to go through the border, as if let in by the French through open gates and surrendering after the invasion of Paris because French love to get fricked in the ass by strong German men.
Either way, This didn't work against Soviets because they had a shit ton of land and better equipment as well as multiple red shirts that wouldn't mind keeling over for muh motherland.
israeli lies
>fricking
holy shit kys
>soviets attack Poland from the East
>germans from the west
>Poland had 1 tank division
>Germany 11
>Poland's motorized divisions: 0
>Germany's: 4
Jeee... I wonder why Poland fall so fast. Probably after seeing muscular germans they all became gay and asked for germans to frick their boipussi in exchange for their land.
Nicht nur ein lügender Jude, sondern auch ein Homosexueller.
I was mocking them, dumb frick.
Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Pooland shouldn't have allied with Hitler and taken over Czech or Lithuania lands
Having muscles like that would be a hindrance, if even possible, at war. Large muscles wouldn't be useful for anything and would waste extra calories just to exist.
Was looking for that thread, thanks

TL; DR
Don't eat too much salt it fricks with your blood vessels
Go away Rabbi
I'm telling you this because i am 3 years ahead of you and now have burst capillaries on my feet
Modestly high salt intake is best saltmaxxing is moronic
Sound like a israelite to me. GET HIM BOYS!
Untermensch
You misspelled Übermensch.
Be better.
I basically shovel salt in before workouts. Drink milk to balance potassium as well. Supplement magnesium. I'm doing like 1/2tsp in my preworkout, then another 1/4tsp straight immediately before heading out the door.
Drink more water.
I should mention I don't remember the last time I had a cramp, I also down multiple 16oz water bottles during my workouts and get crazy pumps, soak my shirts as well as I'm the hardest worker in the gym.
>drink more water
I was literally drinking entire diet soda bottles saturated with salt
I immediately noticed a huge sense of calm but it wasn't a good sign
>Drink milk to balance potassium
what?
based. I had to change the RDI on MFP for sodium because it would keep giving me pop-up notifications saying I'm eating too much. I'm not a fat frick with high blood pressure (not that it actually makes that worse) so why should I care? It tastes good and it's essential for the functioning of my body
Based.
> It tastes good and it's essential for the functioning of my body
I forgot to mention the fact that salt obviously makes things taste better too, 99% of the time when something tastes good it means it's good for you. Just think of the taste of chicken vs beef/red meat
Chicken (low in nutrition): Tastes ok but needs all sorts of spices and seasonings
Beef (very high in nutrition): Tastes great even on its own but a bit of salt and pepper elevates the taste to godly status
>99% of the time when something tastes good it means it's good for you.
americans live by this statement
>Chicken (low in nutrition)
New IST meme?
Chicken IS very relatively low in micronutrients for the most part, it's basically protein which is just a macronutrient.
it depends, i live in a 3rd world shithole and the kind of chickens prized here are the lean but flavorful ones, i always feel really energized after drinking a broth made from their bones unlike broilers, sure obese broilers exist and are cheap but they're really tasteless compared to the free roaming lean chickens, even roosters mog the shit out of broilers taste wise
>99% of the time when something tastes good it means it's good for you.
Yeah, I'm sure Haagen-dazs is extremely good for me, since it's the most palatable thing I've ever eaten. I can eat a literal pound of it in less than fifteen minutes. Great for my health, right?
Sugars were essential for putting on fat and surviving lean times. Meat was a daily food for early humans, sugary fruit was a delicacy.
>Sugars were essential for putting on fat and surviving lean times
You wouldn't find that much sugary food in the wild, especially not in the form that exists today, either, and it would grow for roughly a month, seasonally. My theory is that we have such a taste for sugar because of breast milk (perfect bulking elixir for a toddler, what with all the carbs and fat) being our only food source when we're babies.
Carbs are just the best source of energy and people vastly overestimate how much protein we need.
>Carbs are just the best source of energy
Fats are more efficient, especially for the brain.
>people vastly overestimate how much protein we need.
True
>Fats are more efficient
no it's not ketard
>Fats are more efficient
Tell me more about how fat can spike insulin please
>fats
>more efficient
>for the brain
Clearly not for your brain, ketotard.
>I'm sure Haagen-dazs is extremely good for me
it unironically is
Alright, I'll bite: why? Don't tell me it's good for bulking or gains.
it's a nice treat and can help you sleep if you're having problems
Based haagen dazs Chad
I have to keep myself out of supermarket frozen aisles because I'll go straight for it if I see it
>but a bit of salt and pepper elevates the taste to godly status
Salt is always the secret to making things taste good. All the herbs and spices in the world mean nothing without adding enough salt.
You really shouldn’t eat 20000 mg of sodium a day. There is a sweet spot between high and low sodium consumption that is good for health, as long as you get enough potassium, but the risk of death increases past a certain point.
Salt is added to literally everything, and we are eating more salt than our ancestors did. There is no reason to believe that most people are deficient in salt.
your ancestors also didn't eat obese chickens and fat juicy seedless bananas, i hope you don't buy your foods from the goymart or else you're just another larpgay
Salt increases blood pressure and causes hypertension.
I agree with you that obese chickens are unnaturally fat, which is why I usually eat skinless chicken breast.
Bananas are probably fine. People who eat too much bananas don’t become fat, if anything, they look sickly and thin like most fruitarians.
>Salt increases blood pressure
so does water
>People who eat too much bananas don’t become fat
they don't but depending on the ripeness they can develop severe digestive issues
Why doesn't salt increase the blood pressure of japanese and koreans? After all they consume more salt than anybody else.
>Salt increases blood pressure
Good.
I have to make sure I don't pass out from all my vasodilators plus cialis I take preworkout.
Why the hell are you taking vasodilators?
for sure not ,everything was salted back then for preservation.I'm pretty sure we actually have lower salt intake.
I'm also pretty sure it has an impact on bones density but thats just my own theory from nowhere.
Oh wow an actual moron
Thousands and thousands of years ago, they mostly hunted things and gathered things, and those things didn’t have salt added to them.
Not added salt, but more sodium in their diet naturally
No, people did not have added salt back then, and food doesn’t naturally contain as much salt as food with salt added to it.
>No, people did not have added salt back then
Used since neolithic era. Once again. Go frick yourselves shills.
>Salt is added to literally everything,
Pretty sure I know exactly how much salt I add and to which foods I cook...
>we are eating more salt than our ancestors did
Really? Even before refrigeration and when the primary means of preservation *was* salt?
Frick you for making me look it up. Search the wapo article for sources.
>In 16th-century Sweden, for example, people ate 100 grams a day, mostly from fish that had been salted to preserve it.
>Long term study of over 10,000 americans finds increased sodium reduces depression
>american sodium consumption constant at 3.5g/day since the 50s
>health agencies recpmmend halving sodium consumption
(weird huh, almost like they want people to be sick and depressed and buy drugs and live short lives)
>In 16th-century Sweden, for example, people ate 100 grams a day
>The median lethal dose (LD50) for Sodium chloride is 3000 mg per kg
Casually consuming half of average lethal dose, based.
I agree that sodium has been demonized, but you don't have to go full moron with your consumption either.
Just don't worry about it and apply salt liberally to anything you cook, it improves taste anyway.
The 16th century was less than 1000 years ago. I don’t know if you were aware of that.
>The lethal dose of table salt is roughly 0.5-1g per kg of body weight
these ancient people ate the lethal dose of salt ever single day
and the same amout if they just drank seawater instead of water (35g per L)
clearly this is hebrew trickery to stop us from discovering the ancient salt gods!!
>at 2kg of salt consumed per hour, subjects eyes started glowing white and levitating
source: homie balls
>gives you stomach cancer and a stroke
Do you guys track salt intake? I'm pretty generous when seasoning etc. I've been told that if you have too much salt you just pee it out anyway... not sure if this is true
>got edema
>mainstream health says it's because of salt
>read ray peat
>he says salt gets rid of edema
>tries his suggestion
>mfw it fricking works
that was the moment i knew that he's legit, Heil Peat, the glowies will pay for killing him
ya'll going to die of heart attack you need to REDUCE salt to be HEALTHY
https://www.ahajournals.org/doi/10.1161/HYPERTENSIONAHA.119.13932
>this traditional perspective has recently been challenged by studies suggesting that higher sodium intake does not stimulate thirst and fluid consumption but rather promotes catabolism and potentially weight loss
i experimented with this a month ago and it seems to be true. the salt definitely increased my appetite and metabolism but whats the point? you get to eat maybe 100-200cals more but your metabolism just shifted. your appetite just upregulates to compensate and nothing has been achieved. tbh i think the metabolism increasing effect is offset by the fact your appetite increases so much. not worth.
>definitely metabolism
How Would you even know
>he doesn't understands the implications of increased metabolism
ngmi
We are talking about sodium right?
What is considered high and low sodium is massively skewed by the complete and utter crap most people eat now.
Most people are definitely eating too much.
I'm steamed I have to live in a world of fatasses convincing themselves to continue to eat & look like shit.
>eat one teaspoon of salt
>die
wtf I hate salt now
i make my own keto powder ie. multi salt water to replenish salt since i drink a decent amount of coffee and alcohol
Who asked
recipe?
I had this realization doing a frick ton of running and not recovering well/getting sick. At first I thought it was potassium, because sodium is everywhere, right? Then I realized it was mostly a lack of sodium. Athletic performance skyrocketed after getting the electrolytes correct.
Just drank a TSP of salt in water, hoping this ain't just another dumb diet meme
>He doesn't know salt is the world's best aphrodisiac and fertility promoter
Aphrodite, The Greek goddess of Fertility, Sex and Beauty was created from salt.

my grandma is on a strictly no salt dirt because of her illness
sometimes I worry about it but doctors know best ig
Why don't you follow your grandma and go no salt?
Because I don't have arthritis and I don't take corticoids
No salt is healthy, You don't need to wait for arthritis to start a no salt diet. Do it today so you can avoid the diseases of tomorrow.
My grandma was too for years, was always fatigued and basically couldnt even leave the house for a walk. She passed away last year from a stroke that was probably caused by the moronic diet the doctors put her on. These morons dont care about them man, tell her to salt her food even if its a little bit
