It's gay if you make it your personality like Jojo and gutsgays do, but otherwise no, it's completely normal. Inb4 millenioids try to talk shit when all of them came to the gym in superhero tanks a decade ago

Wrong. IST exists so that you and a couple thousand other targeted individuals can explain yourselves to me.

Bros, off-topic but anime is starting to fascinate me. Can you guys recommend some good shows or Mangas? I just ordered Attack on Titan #1.

Or the first manga in the series.

Baki(or I guess Grappler Baki), Gurren Lagann, Beserk, Sun Ken Rock, Megalobox(inspired by Ashita no Joe), Bouncer, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood(although the 2003 isn't bad either, just different from the source material after a certain point).
There is a specific anime called how heavy are the dumbbells you lift

Don't bother with AoT, and if you do stop when a certain event starts way into the story, like way way into the story. The ending is very shitly directed and was rushed because of number autismo, or so I've heard.
There was a list of IST approved mangas/anime but I don't have it saved and am to lazy to search within the archive for it.

One punch man is kind of best after watching a lot of other stuff, as it's satire. You can't fully appreciate the satire if you aren't familiar with what it's satirizing (and it targets more than just superman characters).

A bit yeah. Just don’t tell anyone. I find Berserk inspiring because guts gets raped by a big black dude as a kid and then watches his girl get raped by his best friend then watches a lot of other people get raped to death but despite that decides to keep on living. Also that time he fought a e-girl fighter jet and it broke the sound barrier.

I lift watching the same DBZ amvs I used to watch while grinding mmos as a kid. I use the same minmax autism in life to eat the best foods and lift consistently. I got to about 17 or 18% body fat at 6'4" 220 lbs. with a strict press max of 185 lbs. on a log bar so far. I will start adding leg drive until I press above my body weight now. I will never compete and only train at home because I can't watch DBZ amvs away from home.

It’s kind of cringe because stuff like DBZ is popular with Mexicans and other unsavory South American third world types.

  19. 4 months ago

No. A lot of older people got inspired to lift by Hollywood slop like predator or conan or commando or Rocky. And a lot of animes have the same level of writing.

Cringe if you attempt the one punch meme workout. The strength training part is perfectly doable, but trying to run 10k everyday will destroy your joints. There's an article where a professional physical trainer tried it and he only made it a month, and that was with swapping the running for swimming.

what is the purpose of watching anime? Is it to larp as the superhero main character??
Why do people watch these gay cartoons when you can watch ufc, bare knuckle, street fights etc...

Why do you post on an anonymous imageboard instead of talking to actual people in real life?

I cannot have the same conversations in real life as I do on here. I also really enjoy people not knowing each other's identity.

Yes but not because it's anime but needing to inspired or externally motivated to do anything for any reason besides you wanted to is cringe. It just is I didn't make up cringe or define it's modern usage but that's what it is.
