It's gay if you make it your personality like Jojo and gutsgays do, but otherwise no, it's completely normal. Inb4 millenioids try to talk shit when all of them came to the gym in superhero tanks a decade ago
Baki(or I guess Grappler Baki), Gurren Lagann, Beserk, Sun Ken Rock, Megalobox(inspired by Ashita no Joe), Bouncer, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood(although the 2003 isn't bad either, just different from the source material after a certain point).
There is a specific anime called how heavy are the dumbbells you lift
Don't bother with AoT, and if you do stop when a certain event starts way into the story, like way way into the story. The ending is very shitly directed and was rushed because of number autismo, or so I've heard.
There was a list of IST approved mangas/anime but I don't have it saved and am to lazy to search within the archive for it.
I liked Mob 100
the mc is weak physically but has psychic powers. He still decides to get physical and his Gym bros motivate and encourage him and never shit on him for being weaker than them
One punch man is kind of best after watching a lot of other stuff, as it's satire. You can't fully appreciate the satire if you aren't familiar with what it's satirizing (and it targets more than just superman characters).
A bit yeah. Just don’t tell anyone. I find Berserk inspiring because guts gets raped by a big black dude as a kid and then watches his girl get raped by his best friend then watches a lot of other people get raped to death but despite that decides to keep on living. Also that time he fought a e-girl fighter jet and it broke the sound barrier.
Always wondered what type of persons are in real life those anons that are anime gays (listening to anime soundtracks at the gym, having anime profile pictures etc.)
I lift watching the same DBZ amvs I used to watch while grinding mmos as a kid. I use the same minmax autism in life to eat the best foods and lift consistently. I got to about 17 or 18% body fat at 6'4" 220 lbs. with a strict press max of 185 lbs. on a log bar so far. I will start adding leg drive until I press above my body weight now. I will never compete and only train at home because I can't watch DBZ amvs away from home.
No. A lot of older people got inspired to lift by Hollywood slop like predator or conan or commando or Rocky. And a lot of animes have the same level of writing.
Cringe if you attempt the one punch meme workout. The strength training part is perfectly doable, but trying to run 10k everyday will destroy your joints. There's an article where a professional physical trainer tried it and he only made it a month, and that was with swapping the running for swimming.
what is the purpose of watching anime? Is it to larp as the superhero main character??
Why do people watch these gay cartoons when you can watch ufc, bare knuckle, street fights etc...
Yes but not because it's anime but needing to inspired or externally motivated to do anything for any reason besides you wanted to is cringe. It just is I didn't make up cringe or define it's modern usage but that's what it is.
No

not any more cringe than by brownpipo motivationaltube shorts with trap beats
Post skin color with time stamp
Who fricking cares? You don't have to explain yourself to anyone.
Wrong. IST exists so that you and a couple thousand other targeted individuals can explain yourselves to me.
Its not but you have to keep it to yourself
You're just one in a billion lifting weebs.
Bros, off-topic but anime is starting to fascinate me. Can you guys recommend some good shows or Mangas? I just ordered Attack on Titan #1.
Or the first manga in the series.

Thanks and saved. I've heard of berserk but never got around to watching it
Watch the 1997(free on YouTube) and then read the manga I recommend.
Berserk, Gurren Lagann, Baki, Fullmetal Alchemist, Cowboy Bebop
Showa Genroku Rakugo Shinju if you're based
>Cowboy Bebop

Seiin koukou danshi volley-bu
Kengan ashura
Kaze ga tsuyoku fuiteru
Stay fit.
Boku No Pico
I liked Mob 100
the mc is weak physically but has psychic powers. He still decides to get physical and his Gym bros motivate and encourage him and never shit on him for being weaker than them
Goblin Slayer and Chainsaw Man are the only two mangas you need to read
Always start with Dragonball
The Fable
Kengan Asura
Nick and Lever
Saint Young Men
Death Note
Yuru Yuri!
One Punch Man first.

gotta start with death note
classic

No. Buff wheyfus are a great source of inspiration
watching Baki gets me motivated
Better than being inspired by women.
What makes that so bad? The sex drive is a powerful force.
Kinda sad having to lift weights in hopes someone will love you innit?
Buy an Ad, homosexual

It’s kind of cringe because stuff like DBZ is popular with Mexicans and other unsavory South American third world types.
It's never cringe to be inspired to do something positive
No. A lot of older people got inspired to lift by Hollywood slop like predator or conan or commando or Rocky. And a lot of animes have the same level of writing.
>slop
>Predator
Predator is one of the greatest movies ever made you God damn teoglodyte.
>Predator
>Conan
>Rocky
>Slop
Frick you.

its cringe to be
>talking about it
>brown
>calling yourself a chad
just quietly enjoying stuff is fine
Absolutely not
not at all my homie
AWAKEN, MY MASTERS!
i work out of fear
So long as you're inspired
Whatever it takes to get there. Even if it's the cringiest shit you're better for it.
what is the purpose of watching anime? Is it to larp as the superhero main character??
Why do people watch these gay cartoons when you can watch ufc, bare knuckle, street fights etc...
Why do you post on an anonymous imageboard instead of talking to actual people in real life?
I cannot have the same conversations in real life as I do on here. I also really enjoy people not knowing each other's identity.
Apples to oranges
I'm only inspired by MOE.
..cringe...?
Ashita and ippo are my favorite anime mcs
yeah, but who cares?
Inspiration is inspiration, it doesn't matter where you get it from.
Yes but not because it's anime but needing to inspired or externally motivated to do anything for any reason besides you wanted to is cringe. It just is I didn't make up cringe or define it's modern usage but that's what it is.
