No. People treat skinnyfat like it's a bodytype you're born with and can't escape. That's not true at all. Fat people don't become fat people overnight, they have to gradually gain that weight. Skinnyfat people are just regular people on their way to becoming fat. If you actually start working out and eating a healthy diet you'll fix yourself quicker than you realize.

I’m much more muscular, but I’ve still got a big stomach. It’s not changing unless I eat only healthy food and add three cardio days to my week. I’m over it. Who cares.

      >2.5 years
      >humongous frame expansion

Fraudsters have fricking mindraped this board man we used to have a containment thread for these dudes but there's so many now they spill out like a cup too full. You CANNOT achieve this without some serious supplemental help hormonally or freak genetics. DO NOT use this poster or anyone as a comparison to yourself.

The only thing you need to do is lift, everyday, and trust the process. Like learning a language, or building a craft skill. Everyday, one step at a time for many years.

I'm at 7 years natty lifting. No routine or diet really, I just show up, hit all my muscle groups for that day. And then show up again tomorrow.
      HOWEVER cardio helps 🙂

Gl skinny fat bros I've been there. There's no magic pill for natties just keep at it boys.

To be honest, before this, I didn't understand how dieting works. I was lifting and eating without measuring my food, not doing aerobics, and resting for long periods despite lifting five times a week. But I don't know, maybe my genetics are just shit, and it's over for me. Now I'm bulking since december and yeah, I gained some pounds but no muscles at all

Oh I also eat a lot of chicken, rice, beans, yogurt, wheat bread, banana and avocado.

I don't know if that'll be of any help to you but seriously, read the suggestions that are included in the pic. From what you said it seems more like a problem of not lifting properly than diet

This is why cutting as a skinnyfat person is a bad idea

Recomp (eat at maintenance and lift) is way better because you'll start to look leaner as you lift anyway

If you cut down as skinnyfat you won't make gains and also you'll turn into a skeleton

                does recomp really work?

                Anonymous

NTA but as a fat as fatass who was weak as shit and didn't exercise for years, I decided to recomp while lifting instead of cut. I calculated TDEE and after a small amount of weight loss, I have maintained the exact same weight +- a few pounds for 18 months while decreasing my body fat percentage by 10-12% and making decent gains in both strength and hypertrophy. Granted, I still have a gut and just now starting a cut, but I feel like this was an optimal approach.

No, you can still get fat pretty easy, and you're at a crossroads. You have 5 results you can go for within a years time
    >stay the same
    Lol
    >no lifting, eat more
You'll end up a fat bowling pin penguin man
    >no lifting, eat less
Twink status/trapmode achieved and will you plz be my gf
    >lifting, eating more
You'll become builtfat and mog people for the first time in your life but you'll also feel the strain on your body from gaining the extra fat and muscle tissue
    >lifting, eat less
Ottermode lite is here, where you'll look decent without a shirt and have some abs and little cuts, but the second you put a shirt on you'll have gone back to twink status

Most fat people actually have muscle under that fat and can focus on just cutting.

Skinny people don’t have to worry about fat loss and can focus on just building muscle

Skinnyfat people have neither of those things so they have to both lose fat and build muscle. It’s not any harder to do either of those things individually, it’s just that you have to do both

  8. 3 weeks ago

skinnyfat is the best starting point cuz wether you bulk or cut you'll see dramatic (to your eyes) results, whereas fatties have to spend months or even years in the most extreme cases just to default their weight and skellies will see a skinnypack soon but will struggle with becoming strong

It is a body type you are genetically predisposed to. I doubt you were ever skinny fat and instead just had normal weight without muscle.

skinny fat is better than fatfat. put some muscle on and you look better instantly. fat people have to lose weight and muscle up to look better

  13. 3 weeks ago

Both are equally hard, a skinny person has to bulk + lift and a fat person needs to cut + lift. Both are shocks to their respective systems and take hard work and persistance to overcome.

The skinny people will have an advantage in aerobic exercise, while fat people will have more energy and muscle for strength exercise
