Easier to digest and pass than yogurt as well, meaning more soluble/usable brotein which enters and exits the body sooner than yogurt. If OP wants to bulk, brown rice 3 times a day would do the job alone. 3 cups cooked rice per meal.

>can't be stored for long periods of time because the oils in the bran will go rancid >harder to cook right >tastes like shit no matter what >awful texture
brown rice is a food for people for whom eating is a joyless chore, who are robots devoid of a soul that would otherwise tell them what they're chewing and swallowing is garbage. It's a great way to broadcast to the world that you are indifferent to all the myriad pleasures that cuisine has to offer, and would rather choke down disgusting starchy goo for its "macros"
Frick yes white rice is amazing. Your body digest it very fast and uses it for energy very well. I feel great when I have that and maybe a little onions sauce and sweet chili sauce for a pre workout meal and the pump from it is crazy good. If you're looking for something that you can eat a lot of and not be in a food coma for a while, white rice is a great choice.
Brown rice isn't bad but it will make you full for longer with the increased fiber and lower glycemic index. Also cmon, anyone with half a brain in the kitchen knows white rice is tastier and has better texture then brown rice. Just get a rice cooker and you can make both ez pz and see which one you like more.
>washing machine
I can clean my clothes perfectly with a regular washboard in under 10 minutes. Learn to fricking wash instead of falling for redditor memes.
Bullshit cope. Washing machine actually saves time and effort. What's next, are you gonna shill a scrambled eggs cooker? Maybe an automatic sandwich maker?
It saves you a pot you have to watch. I just throw rice and water in mine, turn it on and wait a bit for perfectly cooked rice without any problems each time. Cleanup is also the same as if you use a pot and a cheap one costs as much as a pot. Also the warmkeeping function is quite comfy if you serve a meal for multiple people or you want to eat rice again after a short while.

Black person, you literally have 80IQ if you add too much water so that you have to keep an eye on it whether it overflows or not.
I just fill it halfway through, put it on medium heat and then prepare the rest of my meal. When I'm finished with cooking the meat and vegetables, the rice is perfect and only a bit wet.
You're a fricking brainlet going "muh rice cookah, I'm too stupid to put grains into a pot and pour some water into it".

Rice cooker helps keep the rice warm and moist even after its done cooking, great for if you want to cook a bunch of rice but not eat it all in 1 go.
You're a brainlet who can't afford one and so copes with his stove, it's ok. Life has losers and winners and it just so happens you're the former
The vast majority of Asians (including south, southeast, and western Asians) use a pan or an equivalent to cook their rice. The Japanese you animes are not "every household in asia".

You don't have to watch it. After initial preparations, I just put it on sub medium fire for 4 to 5 minutes. I get up and check if there are no water bubbles (99% of the time it doesn't) and then turn it off. If it still has bubbles I wait another minute. That is 1 extra minute wasted every 400 to 500 minutes. I can also cook rice for 10 people in one go, or only for myself. Can you cook for 10 people with your rice cooker?
yes i exaggerated, obviously. just like you did when you said rice cookers are for redditors.
i was mainly thinking of china actually. maybe you're right about south asia, i wouldnt know to be honest.
i don't really see the point in getting mad over people using ricecookers, seems pretty pointless
I got an expensive rice cooker and it's the best thing I own, way way easier than making it yourself and I can schedule it to cook rice a whatever time I want
I add 4 oz cooked white rice to a bag of walmart cauliflower rice for each of my meals, puts me at about 100g carbs a day and is a great tasting high volume food mix.
It can be. It has no nutritonal value at all, in a desperate situation it can keep you alive a little longer, if you're cheap or too strapped for time you can add it to real food to up the calories.
rice is a grain and grains are bad for you
Steak
Sweet Potato
Yogurt
This is what makes a diet, grains are for the weak
Brown rice has more brotein than yogurt though.
More and shittier

Eat 4 cups a day at least. Eat 2 cups of oatmeal a day, at least. Then you are Done bulking untill tomorrow.
Buy brown rice instead, and obviously compliment it with other foods like eggs, meat, broccoli, etc.
White rice is worse than soda, from a glycemic index point of view. Literally pure sugar, in a slightly different form.
Listen to ketolards for all your dietary advice
asians can't get fat.
