ITT: Equipment IST hates because they ingested too many memes and/or don't even lift
I'll start: trap bar. Very versatile and useful.

name one lift its good for
farmers walks
>blocks your legs
just use dumbbells
manlet detected
if your holding it high and not just letting it dangle off your hands then it should clear your legs unless your some abnormally lanky motherfricker
deadlifts
Athletics in general. Being able to run fast and jump high is infinitely more impressive and useful than lifting heavy weights
They're so good for shrugs.
damn that’s good idea
thats the whole point of the equipment
why do you think its called a trap bar? its designed to make your TRAPS grow
>why do you think its called a trap bar?
>he doesn't know
It's called a trap bar because you are trapped inside of the bar. Try leaving without stepping over the metal. It's not going to work ergo you are trapped inside of the bar
100%, a lot of IST jumped on the "it's not a barbell or dumbbell so it's bad" bandwagon meanwhile it's a fantastic accessory for your deadlift.
I deadlift with those. Its easier on the back.
ITT redpills IST struggles to swallow:
People always end up the way they started out. No one ever changes. They think they do, but they don't. If you're the depressed type now, that's the way you'll always be. If you're the mindless, happy type, that's the way you'll be when you grow up. You might lose some weight, your face might clear up, get a body tan, a breast enlargement, a sex change - makes no difference. Essentially... from in front, or from behind... whether you're thirteen or fifty, you'll always be the same.
>Never improve!!!
You fill me with almost as much cringe as 13 year old me.
>always the same
starting when
you come out the womb, and you never change just learn language?
fricking moron
I just did 690 with the low handles today
It is a more comfortable pull but it's usually because of mobility issues keeping the oly bar from feeling just right for pulling from the floor. It's kind of like a leg press.
It's useful for progressive overloading on deadlifts and Squats. I bought one and use it once a week and I swear it's really carrying over to my Squat and deads.
If im gonna be completely honest i only use this because im too lazy to move my barbell out of my rack and setup for a deadlift
>trap bar rdls
>trap bar z press
Absolutely amazing variations
