>DB french press
>high volume pump sets for arms
At my gym at least
Used to enjoy this exercise. Then one day I went to heavy and injured my upper back.
Your posture was probably shit
How about 30 pounds?
one arm standing arnold press
upside down kettlebell press, both hands, even a mere 8kg kb is enough to make normalgays impressed
>8kg kb is enough to make normalgays impressed
found the pavel tsatsouline-tard
Picrel with two acoustic guitars. You won’t last 2 minutes.
>one arm standing db press.
Is this for obliques?
>upside down kettlebell press
What does this do? Forearms?
>upside down kettlebell press
I do it to train my stability
lat pullovers, i see literally nobody doing that, great finisher to back workout
Amrap pull ups are better for you
I can never do them properly, they always feel super awkward
shiiiiiiiiiiiiii I been doing these on the bench with a barbell
Based. These will make your serratus and rib muscles aesthetic too.
I've recently started doing db deadlifts with my olympic plate loaded dumbell. The stabilization aspect is very difficult, but makes it worth mastering in itself. That's not to mention the glute burn.
Do you start slightly bent to hit your rear delts at the start?
I've started trialing these as a hinge that also challenges shoulder stability. Dumbell compound work in general is heavily underrated.
its a good exercise but I just wish I could work both arms, i've been doing them right handed like the diagram for a while and my left arm has yet to get gains. Will they release a left handed one too?
I had a dream someone hogged the squat rack from me so that he could do standing one arm db presses, disturbing.
are you german perchance?
Kb snatch press complex
>snatch kettlebell
>reverse press from snatch lockout and return to snatch lockout
>Back swing from snatch lockout poaition
>H2H swing
>repeat other side
That sounds wicked except kb snatches wreck my hands.
You could do it with a dumbbell, I just happen to have kettlebells. But the secret to snatches is to corkscrew your hand while punching through the window and then your hands are spared.
Overhead barbell shrugs
YTFWLs
It's a superset of a bunch of exercises but they blew up my shoulders and I never see anyone doing it
>DB french press
>snatch grip barbell back extensions
>DB hammer preacher curls
>DB hammer preacher curls
I used to do those, but then I switched to incline preacher curls
incline hammer* curls, my b
fuggin checkin myself tho
cannonball crunches for abs
I do this but with a barbell, kekked when I saw some other guys trying it out too
>Lu raises
I don't even oldx8dj8y lift I know they're good for your shoulders
It’s just called a dumbbell press, you absolute bellend
how you supposed to distinguish between doing it one armed or with both arms
when the norm is to be seated and use both arms you have to explicitly name the variation
>cable woodchoppers
Are there any benefits in doing them instead of cable rotation or cable paloff press?
I've been trying these recently and I feel moronic when I do them.
They're fun though
I do 3 sets of these per day
Is there a official name for this?
not that I know of
Thor Bar Challenge
I used to do these but with a kettlebell
OT gonna try to work weighted situps in soon for ab strength, you'd think they would be common but never seen anyone do them irl
Why one arm? Is it working different muscles from normal? Or is it like curls where it’s just better to focus on one at a time?
demolishes obliques and is more fun
seated incline overhead deadlift
literally did these yesterday. it's because I only use two adjustable dumbbells and I got sick of changing the weights on both of them constantly for different symmetrical exercises, so now I just stick to two different weights and unilateral exercises.
>He fell for the steel adjustable meme.
It’s ok, so did I, dumped them at my parent’s place and got a bowelflex set (recently saw rep makes them too, I’d probably get those instead now) they’re way better.
it's one of those beginner sets I bought when I was literally half my current age. I lack the room for a home gym, and the energy to go serious about training again any way. maybe later this year or next year I'll start going to a gym. or if I'm in a bigger apartment by the end of this year maybe I start assembling a minimalist home gym.
I do this but with both dumbells at the same time... should I do one at a time I guess it would make me have to focus more on stability?

get fricked by trannies til failure, greatest butthole workout my clench grip has trebled in 4 months and i can make them cum in under 2 minutes now
i’ve been going to the gym 2 years and only ever seen 1 chick do these. thought it was a pretty well known exercise
I do them, or try to, they’re fricking brutal.
These are fairly common in my gym, I love them
I spend too much time stumbling like a drunk to actually focus on the fricking lift. >tfw balancelet.
>even stumbled over greentext at the mere mention of bss
GYADAMMIH
I do it too but only due to lack of equipment. But I'm just a couple of plates from being able to do it with both arms so I'll drop them soon.
i made my own exercise called phantom dumbell rows. stand up with two dumbells, lean forward a bit, and pretend you are rowing massive oars
zercher
standing overheard
rare day it is when i see someone else zerc. never seen another standing overhead.
>I'd like to see the manager 1
>I'd like to see the manager 2
standing barbell ohp
dumbell pullovers across the bench
ez bar upright row
neck curls
ez bar reverse curls
I don't know the name of it. I sit on the end of a bench, up straight, let me arms hang down and do bicep curls, keeping my upper arm tighter to my sides than my forearms. Maybe this is just called bad form
>Superset single leg extensions for sets of 30 with banded reverse lunges carrying a dumbbell on my shoulder for sets of 30
Shit is cash
