You can make your own hanger for less than $20 look up the "captain's wrench" on Thunder's Place
Jelqing is just for warming up don't do it hard or for more than 5 minutes

Length is really all I care about as I'm very small (4.5 inches without pressing into my body.) What are the odds I actually get an inch out of this after a year of 10 hours of hanging a week? I'd honestly be happy just being 5, but 5.5 would be nice and 6 as a long term goal (like a year and a half to 2 years, without pressing into my body with the ruler.)

Sufficed to say this patent does not work as claimed. It can fulfill all the criteria of a patent and just be unafective. I’m not saying this other patent for sure doesn’t work but unless there’s another body of evidence like an actual expeirament, I’d bet this doesn’t work.
