I've had a hard time digesting protein powders myself. I finally ended up with one that doesn't upset my stomach and make me feel bloated. Look into grass-fed whey and avoid artificial sweeteners. Mine uses Stevia as a sweetener.

I have to say, lactose is probably the ultimate brainlet check. Like there are tons of isolate products and lactose free milk products, hell they even make pills that contain the enzyme to break down lactose that you just take before ingesting it.
But still, morons hurt themselves. I had a friend who had constant diarrhea because he insisted on drinking tons of non-filtered, non-lactose removed milk. I told him to stop doing that and he was amazed that his diarrhea stopped.

I’d try a different one or mix it better. I like orgain chocolate. It’s a bit chalkier than whey but doesn’t have that awful aftertaste. I drink it with milk.

Honestly I can't even remember the last time I had non-isolate whey so I can't say if it tastes better. I just got a tub of a new brand of isolate today, bit more expensive because it's grass fed but holy shit just smelling the tub makes me salivate. Shit's so good I honestly would just replace all my meals with it if I could.
