It's interesting that you ask this question while including a picture of a macaque. I tap into ancestral memories, I believe I have been on this earth since I was a different form of primate. I picture myself swinging from branches, defending territory, and performing superhuman feats. It's an unreal high that drives me through a workout, but it doesn't last super long so I have to finish training within 90 minutes.

Plan out your meals better dipshit. Eat some carbs an hour before going to the gym. Drink some carbs while working out too.

Thats why you suicide cut and just get it over with. You'll regain the delta in lost muscle way faster than you would by trying to preserve it and cut for 3-4x longer. Just make sure once you are done with your cut that you gradually go back to maintenance or ever so slight surplus. Just keep on eye on the mirror and scale but eat enough to have normal energy levels and regain strength and muscle in the gym.

I do less sets and avoid overly strenuous exercises i.e. deadlifts.

If I can't get a good set in then I just stick to cardio and figure that I can get stronger once I'm at my goal weight. Losing fat means reversing insulin resistance which makes it easier to gain muscle later anyways.

You can also carb load if you haven't lifted for awhile but don't go overboard with it.

Whenever you stop your routine, you become weak and won't even be able to perform a proper amount of pushups. Routine is all that matters, frick the food.

I see two things in your post:
    > not motivated psychologically bc I don’t even gain

That’s a (You) problem. Find joy in the process of lifting, become mentally stronger, build routine

    > I feel too weak to train as hard/as long

Well somewhere where you can just lift as long and as hard but with stalling progress and cal deficit lies the optimum but the edge is also very close. If you can’t hold your level during a cut you can either increase cal and lose less fat but also less muscle or you reduce volume/intensity with opposite effect.
You can also play around with when you eat your carbs, it’s best afterwards for fat loss and muscle preservation purposes but if it helps you try eat more before. Also make sure you hit your macros
