>"Don't drink milk. It causes acne"
>"Drink milk, it'll help get rid of acne"
Which one fricking is it IST?
I personally find I get a few spots here and there after eating dairy. But why are there 2 conflicting points of view

Nutrition is not a science and it never will be. If something doesn't work for you, don't consume it.
I drinked a lot of mil through my teen years and had 0 acne. Who knows
causes a lot of ppl acne, but its not always the reason
why not just try leaving it out
leaving something out of nutrition is more likely to let acne disappear than adding somethin
>but its not always the reason
Yeah, people tend not to have milk by itself, nor are they drinking good quality (raw, yes raw, go frick yourself; it's not a meme) milk.
>Falling for the raw milk meme
What do you think pasteurization is
Destructive and quality reducing.
I've drank a ton of milk all my life. 2-3 gallons a week probably. I had bad acne as a teen, don't now. Mine was unrelated to dairy just my hormones.
I don't get acne from milk but my friend does. I think he's lactose intolerant despite being very white
>But why are there 2 conflicting points of view
Because 99.9% of this board is completely scientifically illiterate, no matter how many papers they haven't read they can link.
Pasteurized and UHT milk causes acne.
Raw milk helps get rid of acne.
There, mystery solved.
Too much fat consumption is what worsens acne. Milk depends on how much fat it contains.
t. my acne improved the moment I cut charcuterie/chocolate and reduced oil when cooking
>Too much fat consumption
No, it's too much carbs and refined seed oils.
>cut chocolate (carbs/sugar)
>reduced oil (presumably canola oil)
>improved acne
See? It's right there in your own experience, too, you just attributed it incorrectly.
chocolate good
First of all stop being white. Only white people get acne because you have terminally fricked hormones from drinking milk for thousands of generations. Milk is HIGHLY estrogenic.
>did your ancestors drink milk?
if so, yes!
>did your ancestors not drink milk?
>if so, no!
This is a difficult thing in the modern world because so many people are such genetic mutts. Which ancestors do you look to? Which ancestor's genes are actually being expressed in you? It's hard to parse that kind of thing.
fortunately (due to an overpriced ancestry test) I know that I come from northern european ancestry. Given these populations were dependent on their dairy production, I can reasonably assume it may be in my best interest to drink it.
It'll be interesting to see in the future if epigenetic tests become accurate enough to tell you what food protein specific genes you express.
In the meantime, i'm not lactose intolerance, and milk satisfies my hunger nicely, so I will continue to /sip/
intolerant*
That is only a thing in amerimuttia, the land of the species mixed goylem.
I stopped drinking milk and my skin cleared up a little. I still drink kefir, it seems fermentation in it kills cow growth hormones that cause acne
Next step is to get rid of caffeine, oh god it's impossible but I keep trying everyday. Caffeine releases cortisol which in turn increases acne
I started drinking milk at night and my acne came back with a vengeance. I saw that crazy scientologist youtube saying kelp and other iodine supplements helps the body filter out the oils that cause acne and other types of cysts. May have to cut the whole milk back till I can confirm or deny this.
Try raw milk, it fixed me right up.
Only A2 raw milk is good, very good, in fact. If you're gonna drink anything other than that, you're better off not doing it. Oh, and sugar, seed oils, processed carbs, and too much "non-processed" carbs is what causes acne.
>Drink milk, it'll help get rid of acne
I've never heard anybody say this
>he's never been in a raw /milk/ thread
Only real answer in this thread. Generally speaking high fat foods cause acne, so as long as you can tolerate milk and you drink a low fat option then you should be fine, I think it's more important to keep your face clean and change bedsheets regularly and not touching it with your gross sweaty hands
Haven't seen so much moronation in a while why are there so many raw milk shills, you idiots do know pasteurization is just heating up something to sterilize it, right? Raw milk is like eating raw eggs or raw meat, if you unironically think that's better then you should regress back to our primitive selves before cooking was a thing.
>you idiots do know pasteurization is just heating up something to sterilize it, right?
Yes, and sterilization means killing off beneficial bacteria alongside potential pathogenic ones. Raw milk contains beneficial bacteria that aid your body in properly processing lactose and other substances in the milk, killing those off will leave your body to figure that shit out on its own and can result in negative side effects like acne or digestive discomfort/diarrhea that you wouldn't get with the whole raw milk.
The process of heating also partially breaks down and damages the protein and fat in the milk along with certain vitamins, so you're reducing the nutritional value of the milk overall. And this is all just regarding standard pasteurization, we haven't even gotten into UHT pasteurization (much more heat damage to the contents) or the effects of high-pressure homogenization on the fat within the milk or how milk in the grocery store is separated and reconstituted in a much more watered down form (even "whole milk" in the store has notably less milkfat content than raw milk).
It's funny you bring up raw eggs, too, because while cooking egg WHITES does make the protein in them more bioavailable, cooking egg YOLKS oxidizes the otherwise-healthy cholesterol in them and also damages the vitamins contained within. There are benefits to eating certain foods raw, cooking isn't some universally good thing in all cases, neither is sterilization.
>beneficial bacteria that aid your body in properly processing lactose and other substances in the milk
Enzymes are not bacteria
>killing those off will leave your body to figure that shit out on its own
Yes, just like it does with any other food source. You ARE white, right? You CAN digest milk, right?
>The process of heating also partially breaks down and damages the protein and fat in the milk along with certain vitamins, so you're reducing the nutritional value of the milk overall
That's just wrong. Think about it for a moment I'm sure you'll figure out why that's just straight up wrong
Got tired of replying sorry, but most of the things u said are mostly false raw shill lies but just eat what makes you feel stronger and comfortable or whatever I don't care. Milk will not change your overall nutrition it's such a small percentage of what you eat in total the impact is minimal
>Enzymes are not bacteria
Bacteria produce the enzymes, both are destroyed by pasteurization. Lactose-eating bacteria are literally what turn milk into yogurt and they're naturally occurring in raw milk.
>Yes, just like it does with any other food source.
And that's a better thing for some foods than others.
>You ARE white, right? You CAN digest milk, right?
Yes, but I still do better on raw milk regardless.
>That's just wrong. Think about it for a moment I'm sure you'll figure out why that's just straight up wrong
If it's wrong, then why do they fortify milk with synthetic vitamins? The answer is that they're replacing what's lost in processing, just like sandwich bread is fortified with synthetic vitamins because they remove the wheat germ to improve shelf life and need to add back in the nutrients you lose from doing that.
>Got tired of replying sorry
Apology accepted, I hope you do some more research instead of just assuming existing processes are infallible.
>If it's wrong, then why do they fortify milk with synthetic vitamins?
All food sources that are for children need to be fortified with vitamin D and vitamin A, look it up. That's all they add to milk to fortify it.
I'll take the actual whole food over frankensteined goyslop, thanks.
He's afraid of vitamins and supps too lmfaaaoooo. Raw milkers are the new breed of ketoschizos
Plus, you do know milk (yes, even your magical raw milk) has no vitamin D or A, right? You have absolutely no idea about nutrition and it's just funny at this point. I'm done with this thread you're just too stupid. I'm above this
Both of you have no clue
>cooking egg YOLKS oxidizes the otherwise-healthy cholesterol in them
People actually still believe this myth? Lol
>myth
No.
https://www.healthline.com/nutrition/eating-healthy-eggs#High-heat-cooking-oxidizes-the-cholesterol-in-eggs
You need to read what you link moron lmao
>You need to read what you link moron lmao
I did. Did you?
>However, when eggs are cooked at high temperatures, the cholesterol in them may become oxidized and produce compounds known as oxysterols
>This is a concern for some people, as oxidized cholesterol and oxysterols in the blood have been linked to an increased risk of heart disease
>Foods containing oxidized cholesterol and oxysterols are thought to contribute to the blood levels of these compounds
raw yolks > cooked yolks
>He's afraid of vitamins and supps too lmfaaaoooo.
Not afraid of them, it's just that synthetic vitamins are inferior to ones that naturally occur in food.
>Plus, you do know milk (yes, even your magical raw milk) has no vitamin D or A, right?
No, I do not know that. Here's one study of the vitamin D content of milk: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7278753/
>The vitamin D3 content varied from not detected (less than 1 µg L−1) to 17.0 ± 2.0 µg L−1 milk and was not related to the milk fat content.
Vitamin D is naturally present in milk, though like any natural food the specific content will vary, even though non-fortified milk is not noted officially on nutrition labels as containing it. As for vitamin A, a quick trip to Cronometer reveals that even raw milk is officially labeled as containing vitamin A, so you're wrong there, too.
Vitamin A vitamin A vitamin a vitamin a.
No joke eat liver and your acne will be cured, no need to thank me.
Raw milkers are actual cucks, imagine paying MORE for an objectively WORSE product and then go online shilling about it trying to convince others how great it is. It's just like cucks saying how great it is that their wife gets to frick other dudes regularly, literally.
>objectively
>an objectively WORSE product
Yes, it's so much better to drink dead damaged milk loaded with synthetic vitamins than to just drink raw milk as a complete whole food.
Milk makes men grow breasts. Don’t gain weight if you drink milk or it will go to your hips and breasts.
nobody benefits from individuals choosing to drink raw, locally procured dairy besides local dairy farmers and the small chain stores that stock it. you're trying to make a strawman out of...... local commerce? What's going on man?
There's a government study that found that 2% milk causes acne
it will affect your thyroid
how depends on your other deficiencies (like zink) and if you're hypo-thyroidal or hyper-thyroidal.
Try not drinking litres of soda.
>Are you white Evropean or Mongol?
Drink milk, it'll help get rid of acne
>Are you not white evropean or Mongol?
Don't drink milk. It causes acne
Im whiter than richard spencer (according to 23andme), and dairy gave me acne. Wasn't lactose intolerant I'd been drinking milk since I was a baby, and all of my ancestral lineage drank milk. Don't drink milk for a month if you have acne and at least determine if it's what's causing it
>According to 23andme!11
You are not white, american.
When I was a teenager, milk has DEFINITELY caused me to have more acne. I stopped drinking milk, garbage potato crisps, and they stopped.
It will differ from people to people. Find out what causes you problem, and stop it
never had issues with milk causing acne, but jacking off and being an overall greasy frick causes it hardcore, especially if your pores are easily clogged.
so 2ldr just drink your milk.
For me milk has no effect on acne. I drank milk every single day when I went to high school but had acne all over my upper body. Then I stopped drinking it so often, still had acne. Now I got rid of it by spending more time outside, lifting, eating vitamins and counting calories (therefore eating healthier, less fatty food).
Anti milk doctrine only works on non-white skins. 🙂
Got pretty bad acne as teen, but washing ur frickin face dozen times a day and using some special cucumber water or whatever pore cleaning shit it was few times a day did help a ton. I drank gallons of milk a week, now maybe gallon a week , i get the shits but its worth it.
I am a milk addict with acne- not stopping.
Your acne is unrelated to milk consumption unless you consume dairy excessively. Go see a physician or dermatologist if you wanna figure out your acne issues and stop taking advice from single mothers on blogspot.
see for yourself homosexual it varies
I get acne when I drink whole milk and I can't get access to raw so what would be an alternative for GOMAD results be, if any?
