What’s the benefit of this over seated incline curl?
One trains the "long head" of the bicep more and the other trains the "short head" more. I forget which is which. Bicep, bi = 2 heh.
Read somewhere that incline curls are bunk. Inferior activation and unnecessary increased elbow strain.

Preacher curls can be bad for your shoulders once you move up weight into 40kg +
why are you trying to egolift on fricking curls though? it is a muscle building accessory, it is meant to be light weight + heavy volume

the best curl exercise is low pulley single arm curl with the rope externally rotating the wrist.
And you can feel it right now. Just do a curl, now put your pinky in the muscle below your thumb and do the same curl
