Is his lifting advice solid? His non-lifting advice is anecdotal dogshit, so I'm a bit conflicted on whether or not to believe him about other things.

Yes, his lifting advice is solid. Something I admire about NH in particular compared to most other fitness YouTubers is that NH actually maintains consistent beliefs between videos. So many other channels will make a video one week about why you should dirty bulk, then make a video the next week about why dirty bulking is bad, and so on. They're just shills trying to farm the algorithm to generate ad revenue. The only time NH ever really contradicts himself is if he's talking about specific cases where something may or may not work.
Plus he doesn't run ads or peddle any sort of supplement or book. There's literally no reason for him to be making videos other than the desire to share knowledge with others.
kek
>There's literally no reason for him to be making videos other than the desire to share knowledge with others.
He'd do so much better if his videos were generally focused on lifting with a few snippets of general life advice inbetween, but he has an extensive catalogue of both. I gave his dating and mindset videos a listen and while making a few solid points, most of what he claims as trush is anecdotal or circumstantial evidence at best, which made me consider that maybe his bodybuilding advice is not as accurate or as well-thought-out as he claims.
As far as his life and relationship advice is concerned, there's no proof it's good advice. For all we know he could be an incel NEET, there's no real evidence he's had success himself in either of those fields. I'm not saying I think he is an incel or a NEET, but it's difficult to take that sort of advice at face value. As far as his fitness advice is concerned though, he clearly has a great physique, so I see no reason to cast doubt on what he has to say about lifting.
I agree, he has a great physique, but to be honest, I doubt it takes much more than consistency, calories, protein and basic exercises to get to his physique. It is really that simple. It is just not easy and takes a few years (and depends on your genetics). His takes would not get help you much I think
>As far as his fitness advice is concerned though, he clearly has a great physique, so I see no reason to cast doubt on what he has to say about lifting.
Fair point, but let me get into it further. He's part black or sandmoron. What he says regarding lifting and diet may not apply to you if you're of a more european complexion. but he spews it off as gospel that will ABSOLUTELY change the way you can grow a certain muscle and achieve an anabolic effect. For all we know, he could be sucking on his GF's clit after every workout for a test boost without telling you.
I'm not invalidating his advice, but maybe a "proud frenchman" that cannot digest milk and dairy products is not who you should be getting nutritional guidance from.
It's time to refill your prescription anon
i enjoy listening to other people's thoughts on things
I don't know who this guy is but if you don't reply to this post your mom will die in her sleep tonight
Did he really implied that manlets have better leverages than tallfags in his "stop the hate on manlets" because he has short arms?
I gave that video a listen and received nothing from it. Most of what he says goes something like
>duuude I was a manlet and I know the struggle, I have manlet genes but overcame them through training
and on and on and on. Dude knows nothing about things other than bodybuilding
he said he knows what it's like to be on both sides because he had a big growth sprout in his teens and everyone started treating him better. the point of the video came around to how other groups have victim statuses except for manlets, they are always shunned and not celebrated for existing, quite the opposite, which is the fuel they need to overcome societal hate.
manlets do not have the virtue of having a vagina and this is why society shits on them. Overcomign societal hate is not biologically possible because being small is not an inherently attractive trait
t. manlet
>women is small
>all the more attractive
>same women produces small son
>genetic failure
why isn' there a strick small gene for women and a big gene for men?
He sometimes overcomplicates matters in exercise selection and I think he does not agree with the 10-20 hard sets (RPE 7-10) per muscle per week, which I think is dumb, but overall he is pretty good
>He sometimes overcomplicates matters in exercise selection
sometimes is an understatement. Why do I have to listen to his horrible french accent for 45 minutes just to learn about 3-4 bodybuilding excersizes that will help me gain size and strength for a particular body part?
1.5x speed on the youtube settings
another youtube retard complicating things for internet clout
When will he release Fake Merc part 22 bros?
He's of gnomish heritage.
Literally every brown eyed person is a descendent of desert people, who cares
>latinx are gnomish now
Wtf?
>he doesn’t know what the ladino language is
i like his videos. i listen to him while driving to work and he makes my day better.
I like his as well, to be absolutely fair but hours and hours of listening to his videos have made me question his methods. Some of his takes are genuinely well put together even though I absolutely disagree with them.
>2012+11
>people still need "lifting advice"
everything that needs to be said has already been said thousands of times before
I respect him for saying that you will fail constantly during your first years of lifting. Most people get into lifting for a bit, are dissatisfied, then drop it and never pick it up again.
hijacking to ask if his novice program is actually good for a noob. It seems like there is a lot of bicep work and push ups. I don't mind the push ups cause my back is pretty weak, doing lats and negatives instead for now.
I'm just getting started slowly, mainly working on work. Is this good or should I go for another 3 day program?
The program which i should've picrel instead of frog
wait a minute, are pull-ups a compound movement?
no, it's to superset with the compound movement
good to know. I do machine T-bar rows then some pull-ups and machine pulldowns afterwards and my back and lats feel really tight
seems good enough for me tbqh
it is multi-joint+core stability exercise so yeah it pretty much is.
works for me, but I might be french
French people trying to speak english just...irritates me to my very core for some reason. Anyone else?
they sound pompous
It's like they are capable of softening their accent, but choose not to out of french arrogance and pride. Rubs me the wrong way.
I think their disdain for America and the English language probably makes it worse too
>I will do the minimal amount of effort so that you can understand me, but still know that I'm French, and that I hate America
>ello uchub
I don't even understand that fuckface.
I'd hit it, and I love that hairy chest of his.
Hate it like hell whenever I hear him talk, though.
