Sub 5min on a slight incline outside my house a year ago. Rooning is literally the easiest thing in fitness to program / train for IMO, everything else needs special amount of autism to do right
I know of a few methods to increase running speed without ever running again, mountain climbers to push ups (spam MC and once you gas out, do 2 push ups to recover breath repeat.)
Who cares. Humans where made to walk for hours through the woods and plains chasing down food. We didn't actually run fast. We are endurance hunters and gathering isn't a fast pace thing either. People who run a lot are retarded. You're just destroying your joints because you are bored with your life.

6m30s
>5k
Yes. ~21m
How can your 5k average time be better than your 1mile average?
6:30 pace for a 5km is ~19:40
but it's not? His 5k is 6m45s per mile
We all do cardio all the time bro.
I don't do cardio so it'd probably be something horrible like 12 minutes. Couldn't do a 5k
I'm working on endurance right now. I have a 9 mile run early next week at 6mph.
6:30 mile.
My 5k I've only done in abt 30 minutes, without pushing too hard. I don't train long distance running, it interferes with bodybuilding.
Picrel is an old time in the neighborhood. I'm pretty sure I could do 6 if I got the right splits or just hammed it.
Run... a mile? No thanks, I'll just walk it.
Thats such a good episode. Havent seen it in years

Plus some Lunge Squats to strengthen the legs.
That might help you sprint / accelerate better but it's not a substitute for actual aerobic training.
It is pretty fucking aerobic if you do it for 2 hours.
You might as well just run and get some scenery at that point.
True. I used to run quite a bit, I still do but not as much. Just picked up swimming though, and that shit is actually challenging.
Pretty comfortable running a 6 minute flat mile.
Trying to work my way down to 5 minutes this year.
The best way to get better at running is to run more. Really push yourself each session. You'll see improvement quick.
Gap between 6 and 5 miles is huge
>Really push yourself each session
enjoy your injury lol
>Running instead of driving.
Haven't run a strict mile in ages. 5k time is 21:30, which is not too great, but not too bad either. Maybe I'll go run a mile next week.
I'd guess 6:15ish from that 5k time.
I do 5k swimming in 1h30
>1 mile
8:28

28:56
I know I'm pretty slow but at least I run.
Sure thing
