Just watch some of these reality shows where they try to change lifestyle of some fatties. Especially when you have these cravings. Worked for me. Went from BMI 43 to 32 and still going down.

If you love potato crisps, make some in your oven. Your taste will change and thats the most important thing in the start.

that you know how many calories you're eating is good. Keep that up. Then: track macros. How much of fat, carbs, and protein are you eating? Next time you go shopping, pay attention to macro ratios and prefer protein. Protein's more satiating and your body works harder to digest it. So, given two products with similar calories, pick the protein-heavier product - it's that easy. Then, find some aerobics you like and isn't too hard on your body, and start avoiding slop. You don't have to change on a dime overnight. You don't have to throw all your food out. But start buying better stuff.
I had a BMI of 35 probably a few years ago. I could probably easily eat 5000 calories from pizza. Seed oils make it easy to binge. Not even ice cream is as hard to put down as pizza.
You are likely nutrient deficient to be able to eat that much. Try eating a salad in the morning instead of what you normally do. Hell you should go out and get yourself a salad today and not feel bad about eating it. Your calories for the day are already fricked so you might as well add in some nutrition that may save you tomorrow.
