Picrel, living in the 19th century, naturally knew nothing about bodybuilding methods and nutrition. He worked out all his fricking body every day, doing all the exercises he could remember, he ate like everyone else, but he apparently was not lacking in appetite. At the same time he was practicing wrestling. He did not suffer from overstrain or injuries, he was constantly progressing and was one of the strongest men on the planet.
Why you, counting calories and proteins, taking vitamin and mineral supplements and following meme bodybuilding routines still can't achieve anything like this?

>dyel arms
Lol you are brainwashed by fake natties on instagram and tik tok. His arms are fantastic for a natty, especially considering that he didn't do gay bodybuilding shit.
Reverse body dysmorphia
Very few pre roid era body builders had visible abs. You just can't get such low bf% without losing a lot of muscle mass in the progress if you're natty.
You lose a lot of definition on higher bf% and combine that with the shitty quality of photos of that era.
Single digit bf% didn't become a thing until roids.
also, he was a wrestler. not really a body builder.
Steve Reeves is a post-roid era bodybuilder, anon. Test was synthesized in the 30s.
It wasn't really available to them nor known. it wasn't until the 50's that it started to become used by athletes.
Dianabol was already in early development when he competed, he was supposingly friends with Jon Ziegler as well, who invented it.
>Metandienone was first described in 1955.[1] It was synthesized by researchers at the CIBA laboratories in Basel, Switzerland. CIBA filed for a U.S. patent in 1957,[29] and began marketing the drug as Dianabol in 1958 in the U.S.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Bosley_Ziegler#Developing_anabolic_steroids
again not until the 50's
can you provide a source for your claim that roids were used before the 50's?
>no body posted
MANY such cases.
He also had top tier genetics. That's why people still post his pictures in 2022.
but why does his arms look so small compared to the rest of him
> but why does his arms look so small compared to the rest of him
Arms are small muscles. They suppose to look that way if other your body parts are trained.
when you've got wide shoulders your arms don't press up against your torso which makes them look smaller from the front, it's anatomical.
I have the same issue despite having good arms.
ah ahah ahahahahahahahah
ahagddhahahahaha
oh my fricking god
fricken jacked baby over here
king of kindergarten

floorpressanon, is the rest of your body so underdeveloped or are your shoulders just too fooken massive?
the second, my bideltoid is 25.5 inches, it just makes every other part of my body look small in comparison.
how does one become juicy, halp
my routine is 4 compounds and 2-3 accessories, I only do floor press, ohp, t-bar rows and deadlifts, accessories are curls skullcrushers and sometimes lu raises (switched to these from laterals because they feel better)
all 10x10+ except deadlifts, and only one compound per dag, today I'm doing 10+ sets of 20 reps of ohp for example, and that will be all.
I don't bodybuild though, I do this for my work.
...Tinytrip??
I'm 6'2 so no.
here's an update from the dead front (looks awkward I know)
60kg at the moment, I will add 10kg and lower the reps soon.
my current routine is:
Monday: off
Tuesday: T-bar rows 13x20
Wednesday: off
Thursday: Floor press 13x15 (declines to 14 around set 5, then 13 at 10+)
Friday: Core focused bodyweight
Saturday: OHP 13x20 (declines to 19 around set 5, then to 18 around set 10)
Sunday: Hex bar deadlifts 5 x 20.
I work up my sets and reps until it starts taking too long then add weight and switch back to 10x10 and build up again.
I started with 4-5 sets and just worked up to 10+ slowly.
I do my arm/shoulder exercises every few days if I'm not actively doing climbing work, but when I do I do them almost every day to warm up my arms for injury prevention at work.
damn go easier on the roids bro your nipples are about to make a hole in the floor
10x10 ohp? what weight though that sounds like a lot, how do you split this?
>I do this for my work
explain!? What is it you do for work ? Also no lower body accessories!?I would like how you came up with this style of training or more like why.
probably the best physique here, if natty.
I'm an arborist specialized in the maintenance of old monumental trees that are protected by law, I don't use spurs for my work (damages the bark and invites disease) and it's primarily upper body rope climbing, regular climbers rely more on their legs but they use spurs.
picture related is one of the trees I maintained.
my nipples are tiny I don't know what you're talking about.
>I'm an arborist specialized in the maintenance of old monumental trees that are protected by law
My respect.

Based. Home Gym Master Race ?
Do you change the exercises from time to time ? You said you ohp 13x20@ 60kg which seems incredibly strong , how are your other lifts?
yes.
>Do you change the exercises from time to time ?
I have exclusively done variations of these exercises since I started, the only changes I've made was switching front raises to OHP, and adding more variety to deadlifts, I don't just do hex bar, I also do conventional and change grip styles i.e I lift with double underhand and mixed.
>You said you ohp 13x20@ 60kg which seems incredibly strong , how are your other lifts?
OHP is comparatively my weakest lift, I don't like talking about the subjects because people on the internet are way too prone to comparing themselves, I don't care how much anyone else lifts.
Ben and Jerry's every day
derek?
this guy looked like an absolute unit in a suit.
this is what OP does on his saturday night 🙁
>muh saturday night
Just found the name of this old school bodybuilder. Maurice Jones, he was an absolute unit
>Why you, counting calories and proteins, taking vitamin and mineral supplements and following meme bodybuilding routines still can't achieve anything like this?
