I'm a fatty with no energy and depression, will this stuff really increase my energy and cure depression? What changes did you experience taking this?
I'm a fatty with no energy and depression, will this stuff really increase my energy and cure depression? What changes did you experience taking this?
Might be placebo but I always feel 'on point' when I take creatine. I only do about 5g a day though, don't wanna risk the DHT meme.
>DHT meme
Qrd?
its what dyels who don't lift to cope with the fact they don't want to get big
it can slightly increase DHT/test
lookismcels are terrified of the prospect of slightly elevated androgen hormone activity
if you have DHT sensitivity for balding it's going to happen anyway, your options are to go on troon drugs or just deal with it
So if my dad isn't balding, I shouldn't worry about it?
MPB is maternal. You have to look at either your mother/grandmother or your maternal uncles/granduncles because they share the same genes as your mother/grandmother
None of them are balding.
Chainsmokers and head full of hair.
I'm good yeah?
You’re good. Creatine increases DHT which promotes balding if you have the MPB gene, it doesn’t magically make your hair fall out. That’s why guys like Tom Platz are still rocking a full head of hair but many other roiders go bald early. If you don’t have MPB in your family, you’re good to go
no it doesn't you lying homosexual
https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/19741313/
Just because you don’t like the result, it doesn’t mean it’s not true
>20 people
nice study now show me another one kek
Nah, you can go ahead and increase the sample size yourself. Stay mad and bald lmao
post body i know you won't cause you are dyel
nta but what does him being dyel or not matter when it comes to proving a study right or wrong?
I truly want to see good arguments for both sides so I can decide whether to continue taking creatine but you seem to be grasping at straws.
If anything, you should post your hairline.
he's showing one study on 20 people where it says it may have an effect on dht not does have an effect *may*. he basically is talking out of his ass and wants you to make less gains cause he's a dyel demoralizer who doesn't lift. thats why posting body is important
>he's a dyel demoralizer who doesn't lift. thats why posting body is important
Fair point
Ok, your turn
kek ok yeah frick off dyel
Post body or stay mad, weak, and bald lol
>my 13 inch biceps are really showing you
kek stay dyel
post your body if you mog him that much. but you probably won't lol.
frick you guys are homosexuals now start actually lifting
Kek holy shit DYEL gay ALERT WARNING TINY DYEL gay hahahahha
you mad kek like i said stay dyel
Says the tiny dyel lmao. Kid youre a literal kid
NTA but you guys are gays if someone posts body don't react like a moron
No, don’t demand that other people post body if you look like a literal child and are going to dodge posting your picture. You deserve to be called out
why are you so mad you got mogged?
Getting really small dick vibes from this photo
Holy shit does creatine make your body hair fall out too?
i shaved you moron i don't even take creatine you homosexuals are all just dyel who don't lift
>I don’t even take creatine
Jesus Christ what the frick is wrong with you? Why are you trying so hard to defend this shit then?
Youre like 3 phones wide lmao
what is perspective also post body unless you are that hairy seething dyel kek
Kek yeh yeh youre tiny kid maybe getbig then post lmao your built like a newborn
nice body dyel
Kek why would I lower myself to destroy you, im doing you a favour bucky
At least I still have my hair lmao
ok incel why you don't have sex anyway
Now post scalp with timestamp lmfao.
post a non dyel body kek(you can't cause you are dyel)
That vaccum won't hide the visible bloatware lmfao.
no (you)s for homosexual israelites
just like i thought you don't lift and you are dyel
You need to trim your hair, have a light on and flex or have slight pump if youre goint to post pics or whats the point. Why did you take a pic in a dark room? Even phone flash would have worked. Hair looks like shit aswell.
I’m not going to wax my body to prove some moron on IST wrong lol, if you want to take creatine despite what I’ve tried to tell you fricking go ahead
Come on then, let’s see those 16 inch creatine biceps
Don't shave your body hairs lol these homosexuals have probably lost it with creashit and want you to do the same.
Nice body, but I’d put on some weight unless you have a reason for power-to-weight ratio.
kek this has to be samegayging or you are incredibly dyel
That's been deboonked
Then proooove it deboonker
What difference does it make to me that your info is decades out of date?
>don't wanna risk the DHT meme
The entire point behind taking creatine is to increase your DHT levels. What the frick, lmao
I take only 3g and it the best antidepressant I ever encountered in my life. A real game changer. On the other hand I realized that a lot of stuff that I did I can't do now, because I'm not that handicapped anymore. Seem weird, but it's just like that. If you live your life it seems to pass you and you're going with the flow, if you're depressive you're much more aware in a way. So you lose something, and you gain something, but I like it better this way.
that has to be satire
Most boomers still think protein powder is on par with steroids. They're fricking idiots dude
bro that has to be one of the most legendary IST trolls, yall too new
I was there!
Is the mirror known for satire?
https://web.archive.org/web/20140528064543/http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/world-news/california-shooting-british-serial-killer-3614553
thanks that convinced me, just bought a 200 pack
>Not Rodgermaxxing
NGMI
Ahahahahahahah absolutely amazing
>Rodger happened 9 years ago
I was literally here, live on this website, when it happened.
I've been taking it pretty consistently for years with no side effects, though its effects are so minor, I'm not sure it's even worth it
it's $100 for a year's supply so frick it, right?
it might be helping me i dont know
sometimes i feel like im going to piss myself
If you do start taking creatine and you're trying to lose weight, keep in mind that it will increase water retention and might increase your weight. Just don't get discouraged with day-to-day fluctuations on the scale and a little bloat. - it's just water weight
unironically take some caffeine in the morning, they sell pills and it'll improve your mood for the day and there are no negatives to caffeine aside from the fact you will build up a tolerance. So just cycle from time to time.
>will this stuff really increase my energy and cure depression
Absolutely not.
Essentially it will provide your muscles with a little bit of extra fuel which can give them a little bit of an edge during intense lifting. That's it, really.
But it's cheap, thouroughly studied and has no side effects unless you consume ridiculous doses, so why not.
its the only thing you can and should be taking if you are lifting, aside from some vitamins like D or magnesium
it's not going to give you energy in the way that a stimulant drug or caffeine would, but it can help you sustain physical activity for longer
it is reported to have neurological benefits, but the amount of benefit will vary from person to person, and I don't think you should expect it to immediately cure your depression
I would guess that consistent exercise of at least moderate intensity will have a much more noticeable effect on your mood than just taking creatine would, and losing some weight will almost certainly boost your self-esteem and your energy levels
bit of a meme answer for IST, but it's true. do you have any kind of exercise routine?
It pumps water into the muscles so you will look a little bit bigger and you will also be a little stronger than normal. That's the pros.
The cons is that, it also makes the face bloated as there are also facial muscles. That's the reason I stopped taking creatine.
did you do a load phase? i only did 3mg a day from the beginning and didn't had face bloat while its working.
it's actually quite hard for one to recognize his bloating. You have to pay attention to every detail to see that you are bloated in the face.
Im a lookism homosexual so I try everything to reduce my facial water retention and Im very sure that taking creatine makes my face puffier.
If you just want to lift heavier and look bigger, then creatine is beneficial. But if you just want to look good, especially for the face, then creatine is a bad supplement.
i even notice morning face puffiness sometimes when i wake up, but whatever, i didn't notice any puff after 1 month of 3g/day.
Makes you look bloated. Promotes balding. Let’s you squeeze out an 8th rep when you could’ve otherwise only done 7
I love the pump it gives me, definitely noticeable. I don't know about any of that other shit, but you can't be depressed when your arms are so jacked up you can barely move them.
skip the creatine. dht is t worth it. just go full roids at that point
have fun shooting water straight out of your ass
if you are a lean natty it will boost your str 5-10% and give you 2-4 lbs of muscle because it makes you store more water in the muscles. if you are a fat frick i don't think it will do anything for you.
It works by increasing phospho creatine stores in the body, which helps with energy and stamina at the gym, as well as muscle hydration, but you have to take it every day to reach a saturation point enough to get benefit from it, the average for most is 5g per day, but some can benefit from higher doses,
Some morons, including formerly me, say that it can cause hair loss because it increases dht levels in the body, but there's never actually been proof that causes hair loss, there is one paper, but it's origins are erroneous at best and downright false at worst,
At the end of the day give it a shot, it definitely can help you even if just a placebo,
Tldr: Cheap and helps stamina so it good
What about the study is erroneous? Even the review articles written about creatine admit that there’s nothing wrong with the rugby DHT study, just that it needs to be replicated before drawing conclusions
>that one study can't be replicated where they fricked with the dht numbers has nothing wrong with it bro
> creatine merchant has to resort to battle pictures
Now that creatine is no longer side-effect free, sales aren't doing that great, huh.
Have you actually read the study? They were taking 20 grams a day and only ONE of the players developed MPB and they never even factored genetics into the study.
Yes I have read the study. 20 grams isn’t unreasonable for a loading phase, you should just pee out the excess anyway. What’s worrying isn’t that one guy literally got bald, tbh I don’t even remember that part, it is the huge spike in serum DHT without a corresponding change in free test. That implies that creatine is doing something to prevent or slow the breakdown of DHT into other compounds. That excess DHT is what could cause hair loss if you’re genetically predisposed, a 56% spike in DHT is fricking huge, considering finasteride only reduces production by 60-70%
the one study everyone refers to doesn't even study balding. it's just about the general effect of rugby/intense exercise+creatine on DHT levels (might as well not lift if you are so afraid of balding at this point, lifting should amount to same effect on DHT). everything from that onwards is just speculating on A -> C, B -> C, therefore B -> C. which none of the other studies show. creatine is pretty much the most well studied supplement at this point. and no further ""links"" are found on creatine and balding.
good summary on the matter:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7871530/
*therefore B -> A, frick
Very disingenuous wording and conclusion in that study.
1. The results of van der Merwe have not been replicated because no other published study has tested for DHT in conjunction with creatine supplementation. The authors word it in weaselly a way that implies that other studies did not detect a spike in dht
2. Intense resistance exercise can cause elevated androgenic hormones, sure, but these were already trained athletes. That increase should already be accounted for in baseline DHT levels
3. They suggest that creatine might be up regulating the production of DHT, but that this would be unlikely because increases in total test are not associated with creatine. The conclusion is that creatine is therefore unlikely to cause a DHT spike, when in reality a more reasonable conclusion is that creatine is slowing down or down regulating the breakdown of DHT, leading to higher levels despite total test remaining the same
4. Calling a 0.55 nmol/L spike in DHT “small” is not objective wording and deliberately downplays it. They also suggest that the lower baseline level in the control group somehow explains why the spike was “statistically significant” but offers no real analysis or statistical comparison other than just not so subtly implying that the result is wrong
5. [various authors on the study] “has received funding to study creatine and is an advisor for supplement companies who sell creatine”. This is literally a shill study
>but you have to take it every day to reach a saturation point enough to get benefit from it
where did you get that information? I take it every other day because I got a weird feeling in my dick when I took it every day.
It only helps if your diet is deficient.
If you already eat a lot of red meat you won't notice too much. Vegans would notice a world of difference.
Despite the fact that it supposedly fills your cells with water and makes you look softer and bloated, it had the exact opposite effect on me. It helps me to get shredded and feel great. And the only thing that swells up is my muscles, not the rest of my body. And so I look swole as frick and feel absolutely massive and Chadly when I'm on on creatine. And it's not just in my head. When I'm on creatine, I get lots of comments about how I must work out a lot from random people. And I even occasionally hear kids in the grocery store saying things like "Holy crap. That's guy's friggin' huuuge."
But it also seems to make my hair shed like crazy - which is such a bummer. I've started to go bald over the last few years. I'm a Norwood 3. Or at least I was since I just got a hair transplant a couple of weeks ago. And so I'm yet another anecdotal example of creatine making you go bald. But there's other people out there who've been taking creatine every day for 20+ years with a full head of hair. And so it's up to you if you're willing to take that risk or not. Unfortunately, I'm not willing to take that risk anymore because I used to be so self-conscious about my hairline before my hair transplant (I'm still praying that it turns out well).
I'm super tempted to go back on it though, because my body becomes softer and pudgier when I'm not on it. Almost like those low-T guys with manboobs and pear shaped feminine bodies. It's also really tempting to go back on creatine because I'm one of those people who respond to it extremely well - at least when it comes to gym performance and body composition (with the exception of my hair). I honestly felt like I could lift 30% more weight in the gym within the first month of taking 5 grams of creatine every day. It was insane how much stronger I was. But alas, my hairline hates it.
your hairloss is genetic, just take topical fin 0.25% solution if you are afraid of sides.
I tried oral Finasteride back in 2017. Initially it boosted my sex drive more than I've ever experienced. And so I thought it was having the exact opposite effect of erectile dysfunction on me - which I was thrilled about. But after only taking it for a little over a month, I woke up one morning with almost zero blood flow to my penis. It was literally cold to the touch and shriveled up like I just jumped into an ice bath. Likewise, my balls were tucked it super hard to my body like I just jumped into ice water. And my balls shrunk significantly too. And this nightmare lasted over a year. It was the most uncomfortable I've ever felt. I was an inch away from killing myself. Gradually, my dick has gotten better over the last 6 1/2 years. But it's still not back to being 100%. It's much harder for me to get erections now, my erections don't last as long, both my erect and flaccid size are smaller than they used to be, and my balls are still smaller than they used to be. So I'm never going anywhere near that shit ever again - including the topical version. Taking that poison was the worst mistake in my entire life. And no, I don't care what the scientific studies say. I'm not making up what happened to me.
and let me guess, the cure was a fecal matter transplant, that you did yourself at home.
I haven't tried that. But I'd honestly be willing to. I'm desperate at this point since nothing is really working. I went to several different urologists, and only one of them had ever even heard of post finasteride syndrome. All the rest of them said that the side effects typically go away in about a month. Nobody has any solutions. They just give me prescriptions for viagra and cialis, or they refer me to sex therapists because they think I'm imagining what happened to me.
pfs pasta saved.
Its nocebo brah, you need to strenghten your mind.
DHT is a meme hormone that only does shit to you when ur an adult
You have a massive misconception about what bloating and water retention is. When your muscles have water and bloating, they look full and strong, not soft. When models prep for a shoot, they eat tons of carbs right before and work out a bit to get a pump. They also dehydrate. The carbs pull all the water they have left into the muscles and into the pump, while leaving none to the skin. That makes the muscles look crazy big, full, and hard, while the dehydrated skin clings to the muscles and veins.
Tldr: creatine and water makes your muscles look full and hard, not soft. Like a wiener engorged with blood. Mmmmmm.
>supposedly fills your cells with water
>it had the exact opposite effect on me
>the only thing that swells up is my muscles, not the rest of my body
Anon you have another chance to try and guess what kind of cells the creatine affects. Yeah, its a specific one and not every cell
Just eat meat, provides all the creatine you need
I tried that. But I could still tell a difference between when I was taking it in supplement form or not. Also, there's downsides to consuming too many animal products. Me personally, I get chest pains and high blood pressure when I eat too many animal products.
Balding
no, red meat will however
Big creatine is getting desperate and funding all these shills to say creatine is good for this and good for that etc its sad and pathetic how desperate big creatine has gotten since creatine sales declined from all the kidney problems people got years ago and they have a warehouse full of unsold creashit
>t.dyel
Kek I take anadrol instead of creatine lol it actually works.
>orals only moron
enjoy your shut down afterwards an losing all your gains you need a test base you homosexual moron
Earlier roiders only had underage idiots to deal with, now they also have impotents on TRT.
You know nothing about hormones moron lmao ive done nearly every steroid and multiple different styled stacks.
>i know everything
ok dunning krueger kek
More you moron. List the cycles and drugs youve run and for how long.
Post body
You dont need test base at all for cycles you moron. List what stacks and cycles youve run. If its just test and not even at 1g kys
Have you ever run a gram of test? A gram of deca with that? A gram of primo without that? I bet youve never even run a gram of any hormone even alone lmao
You do NOT need a test base with everything, why do people still say this? It's a good idea, but it's not required, and you sure as hell aren't just going to magically lose gains because you didn't run it. That's moron shit you're just repeating and clearly shows you don't know what you're talking about.
My hair literally thinned 30-35%. I stopped using it, and my hair stopped thinning, but didnt regrow... DONT USE IT
I just follow a lifting program and drink water when thirsty
and after taking creatine
I just follow a lifting program and drink water when thirsty
and after a month of lifting I feel great
>I'm a fatty with no energy and depression, will this stuff really increase my energy and cure depression
No that's not what creatine is for. It will help store a tiny bit more glycogen in your muscles so you will get fatigued less quickly doing high intensity exercise. The difference it makes is quite small, but it definitely can help lifting, cardio ect. If your a fat frick who doesn't exercise there is basically no point in taking it
Only creapure worked for me, nobody in my family is bald and if made me shed a bit of hair, my dad has a full head of hair at almost 50.
My grandpa had full head of hair at almost 70 before he passed away.
I swapped to "normal" creatine aka non creapure and I didn't react at all to it, my muscles feels like they aren't bigger before I was on creapure.
Will probably stop taking it because it makes my face bloated even though I'm 15% bf
>makes you go bald
heh. Nothin personal
Just get it through carnivore diet, homosexual.
No joke literally just do animal based omad till you're shredded. By then, your depression will be a long gone memory and then you're allowed to talk to me about creatine you cum stain
Bros... I just started taking this stuff for the first time ever 5 days ago.... Am I going to lose my fricking hair? Should I just not take this shit at all and count my losses?
look at the dyel who is saying it makes you go bald he looks like he's never been in the same room as an attractive girl thats all you need to know
I am asking a question AHHHHHHHH.. Is it even over before it even began?
its made up by nerds/dyels who read one pubmed with a 20 person sample size to keep you from making gains
You ask for studies, you get them and then complain that they weren’t conducted properly while offering nothing to the contrary. You ask for body without posting yours first, and then you call them dyel when they post it. It didn’t matter if there was a sample size of 100,000 or if the poster looked like Arnold, you just don’t want to admit that you’re wrong. Creatine promotes balding, and a study found a plausible mechanism for it. End of story
wrong again it may affect dht you didn't even read your shitty study with 20 people another 100 studies show creatine doesn't affect balding you disingenuous homosexual and that guy is dyel as frick and you are mad somebody is calling you on your bullshit
You know damn well if that study with 20 people found no evidence of an effect on DHT, you’d treat it like gospel. But I’ll play. Post 1 study that shows it doesn’t affect DHT. One single study out of those 100, and I’ll say “ok you’re right you win I’m moronic”. Just post it and thats it
I already won i mogged the frick outta you dyel if you were right you'd be bigger but you are wrong and small
Kek, the only thing that got mogged is your hair. You have no studies, no hair, and no brain.
ok 13 inch biceps i sure wouldn't take any lifting or helath advice from a dyel like you kek
>still no body posted
ok incel keep sneeding and never having sex
Not a miracle product. Nothing is. It has been clinically shown to increase both performance and muscle growth. The only downside is you retain more water (so you weight a bit more). As long as you drink plenty of water and don't need to make weight for some weight class competition, there's absolutely no downside.
That being said, we're talking about something like a 5% difference. It won't make or break your progress. If you're fat and depressed, it won't cure that. Only hard work will. Creatine just makes you 5% faster.
Lifting heavy ass weight is the only thing that will change your life. There are no shortcuts. Remember that there is always a israelite who will sell you things for a reasonable interest rate. That doesn’t mean they work. You should read about Hercules, and the choice he was given.
no one in my family is bald and as a recovering vegeteriahomosexual (thanks dad) ive been taking it on and off for a few years, no clue if it helps for muscle growth but it has other functions in the body and is only avalable in meat otherwise
lookup which foods contain creatine and eat them, that is the red pill
Give it up lmao, you’re moronic and bald. Post that fricking study already, I’ve been waiting for hours
post a study where it says it causes baldness yours says it may cause increases in dht *may* you dyel learn to fricking read your own shit or better yet start lifting cause you look like shit
Pathetic, you couldn’t even post one study
your study deboonks your own shitty theory plus you look like shit and you're moronic thats no way to live life maybe try lifting weights once
>post a study
Even something like smoking *may* cause cancer, just because you smoke it doesn’t mean you will get cancer. But reasonable human beings say things like “smoking will give you cancer” because the risk is so high. What point are you even trying to make here?
you may as well be a israelite with that kinda liberal language useage also you still look like shit and can't even bench 2 plates so frick off back to /LULZ/
Haha bro you are like 5’6” and bald, put down the creatine and try some milk instead. Maybe you can still get to 5’7” one day
i'm 6' but keep making things up so you feel better about being dyel
Wait, are you actually bald? Lmaooo, I tried to warn you about the creatine
keep making things up its cute how jealous you are
Creatine made me go bald. Not worth it bros
I take 10g a day, aside from slightly more muscle definition I can’t tell if it’s doing anything. exercise will cure your depression.
When I was younger (25) i used to take creatine - made me feel huge, helped me (even though probably placebo) increase my prs.
Downside was that i had to pee every night like 5 times, which i hated.
Then, as the moron i was, i started taking more and more until i beastly had liver and kidney damage. I felt incredibly dehydrated, had 40° fever, massive pains and stopped taking it immediately.
Never again
Oh, also, my gf nearly vomited from the taste of my cum. And if it affects that, then frick it, my sperm stay untouched
That’s concerning. This week I was going to buy creative for the first time but I love giving my gf facials and her swallowing my load. I don’t want to mess up my cum taste for a little gains.
>believing that larp
i got a timeshare to sell you too
>i started taking more and more until i beastly had liver and kidney damage
lmao wtf
You literally just piss out the excess. There's no evidence to show it does this. Were you taking some kind of compound of creatine+????mystery ingredients or are you just a moron who conflates things?
You cannot OD on pure creatine monohydrate. I'm sure that everyone who reports symptoms outside of gastric distress during a loading phase has been taking some moronic wienertail of other components.
>Downside was that i had to pee every night like 5 times, which i hated.
Yeah, that's really annoying. I guess there's just nothing perfect in this world. I found the sweet spot, though, now I have to get up only once at night.
Creatine gave me another rep on 3pl8 bench so you could say it cured my depression
fellow creatine user and 3 plate bencher
No it won't. How about you read about what creatine even does.
