i wore my watch one night and i averaged 65 when sleeping
i don't know if that actually counts as resting though
and im not even in good shape
Inshallah I will not touch the alcoholic garden gnome, coming off a bender
I'm obese and average 52.
Losing weight though bros, no bully.
Yes
Mine bounces around 68-80 but I wake up early to work a second job, work a dayjob where I don't do anything and feel guilty, then come back and work my second job and go to sleep praying I can have enough money to buy a house/car and meet a woman to have a family with.
Just got back into the gym for strength training and also got a bike I use to go to the gym but I don't know if I have RHR gainz yet. Gym has an air bike, will that help me get it down?
>the heart is a muscle >the more you work muscles >the more they grow >high BPM means lots of reps >lots of reps means lots of work >lots of work means stronger muscles >the heart is a muscle
Word. If you work out your heart as much as Arnold did you might even get it to grow so big that you need a surgery like the one he had a few years back

I used to have a resting heart rate of 62, but ever since ĺ got vaxxed my heart rate went up to 71.
I also have days where my resting heart rate spikes up to over 100 for no reason.
Pic related, I ended up going to the hospital for this.
My HR has been resting around 100 the last few days. I’m under 30. Really paranoid. Recently started trying to fix my health. Started cutting, going on walks. I found actual cardio to be too much, my HR was staying at 130 for up to over an hour after so it’s just walks for now until I drop down fat.
I have quit vaping and weed.
Is this worth seeing a cardiologist over? I’m super paranoid I’m gonna have a heart attack eventually. I was playing a video game and it spiked to 160.
You’re just in terrible shape, but you’ll be fine if you relax. Start walking and get some sun brother. Buy some coconut oil and jojoba and smear it on yourself and sit in the sun while listening to acoustic guitar finger style to relax. And wear a smile while you’re doing it. Don’t care if you aren’t happy, smile.
I think my resting bpm is quite bad, I'm starting to get back into some cardio and fixing shitty sleep.
Is there a good heart rate monitor I can wear just to watch it when im at home for the day or exercising.
Okay but is this 'resting' as in when sitting chilling, or when sleeping? Because mine is very different. It's like 60-something when sleeping, but during the day if I check it intermittently while sitting at the computer it can range anywhere from 75-89. My Whoop calculates RHR off sleep, but I'd like to know if other people have such a large difference
I won't let you down Scooby, I'm gonna do my weekly recommended cardio till i get down to 65 bpm >T. 28 year old 78 bpmlet

Fuck how the fuck do you people have such low heart rates I am going to a fucking early grave fuck me. I am chronically stressed and angry and take large amounts of caffeine, used to take a lot of ADHD meds so I think I fucked myself. I've booked with my local doctor to get a referral to a cardiologist. I'm scared. Is it possible to still lift and do cardio with a fucked heart?
100 although have had caffeine, I have seen it as low as 75ish. I'm going to quit caffeine for good. No but kind of skinny fat but on a cut and lost a shitload of weight, 189cm at 78.5kg right now. Used to be 100kg.
Speaking for myself, I'm a kickboxer (I do my cardio) and I don't really stress about life. The only thing that stresses me is people being retarded and making things harder than they need to be.
I deal with my ADHD by constantly learning new hands on skills
Yeah I stress about things in the past after mum died and I have serious anger issues I need to sort out. I yell at nothing, imaginary arguments... I went psychotic and thought people were out to kill me. ADHD has improved a bit as I've done exercise and fixed my diet up but will probably need to go back on meds. I don't breathe deeply enough either but that's a learned habit because of constant stress all my life. I know I sound like a victim, I'm really trying to change and I have in a lot of ways, but this is insane.
tbh I did have a lot of coffee so I'm probably over reacting and I did another measurement and I got 80. My heart beats faster every time I take a measurement. I still have a bit of weight loss to go but I'm getting there.
ok take your measurement in the mornign after waking up for 3 days in a row and take the average of that before you waste money on a doctor's appointment (assuming american)

how do I measure it?
I've compared my heart rate with a metronome and it sounds like 80bpm, is this accurate?
Can I change my heart rate with a metronome?
Bradycardia. I am sitting around 15% bodyfat and cutting right now but when I'm bulking it stays in 40s. I'd like to know the root cause, or if I'm at risk of anything other than fainting.
First, what is the accuracy of these devices? how exactly do they measure your heart rate?
I think they are fairly accurate. I know mine at least isn't fucked up, it's been consistent and I've had other people try it on and read their hr.
high school, constant cardio from football and wrestling, lifting hard, no alcohol or tobacco, 125lbs bodyweight >70bpm
adulthood, weekly cardio, lifting hard, weekly alcohol, constant tobacco, 150lbs bodyweight >60 bpm
Is old man strength real? Do cigarettes train your cardiovascular system? Nothing makes sense anymore.
Quit smoking, do some cardio (nothing exaggerated but be consistent) also go to the doctog and get checked to know if you have some conditions that gets your heart to beat so fast at rest, if you have a cardiac problem you will want to know sooner more then later
I'm in the 70s
I wonder if it's because I drink a lot of caffeine
Because I work out daily
>heartlets
Step aside.
Sit down old men
Impressive. Very nice.
I present: Paul Allen's card
Fuck. Beats me.
Lose weight, be short, and do extreme cardio.
That's how you do it.
i wore my watch one night and i averaged 65 when sleeping
i don't know if that actually counts as resting though
and im not even in good shape
No, it doesn't. Resting heat rate is when you are sitting or watching tv, not sleeping. Sleeping HR is always lower
I've overweight, slowly losing it, but have been in the "excellent" category for as long as I've bothered to check.
What gives?
same
Are you short?
Do heavy cardio 4 times a week?
5'9, very slightly shorter than average for my ethnic group
And absolutely no cardio, I only weightlift now and again due to time restrictions.
Inshallah I will not touch the alcoholic garden gnome, coming off a bender
I'm obese and average 52.
Losing weight though bros, no bully.
Chart is bullshit I’m an overweight smoker and still considered an athlete lmfao
Yes
What happens if I'm off the chart?
?t=17

arnold's heart has a birth defect, he would've needed surgery either way
Overweight per BMI
Resting heart rate of 44
BMI of 11-12%
Can run a 5 min mile and bench 2 pl8s
Life’s good

Yep, cardio time
The air bike and the erg are my best friends but also my worst enemies
I used to be at 45bpm a few years ago. I'm still at 50 now despite doing only doing 20% of the cardio/HIIT I used to
I suspect after reaching a high level of cardio fitness it's easier to hold onto a decent level.
Just like muscle size.
I guess so. I also don't have anxiety or drink caffeine
>tfw chart only goes down to 49
i'm fat as shit and my heart rate is in the 40s. this chart is horrible.
I’m at 74. I’m anxious all the time

>tfw heart rate drops for low 50s, even upper 40s while laying in bed.
yes, my resting heart rate is mid 40s
nurses go balistic whenever they see this
I'm a rooner. Current testing heart rate is 48 despite drinking too much coffee and taking adderall.
236 pounds
6' 2"
120/75
53 BPM resting
Before gaining 200 lbs my heart rate was 48 bpm god I miss the old me
High 70s without caffeine, idgi. I need to see a doctor. I'm in my late 20s.
i'm a skinny fat who doesn't lift and my resting rate is 58, what does this mean?
Cool as a cucumber
57, 32 and overweight
my sleep is around 42
I think my resting bpm is quite bad, I'm starting to get back into some cardio and fixing shitty sleep.
Is there a good heart rate monitor I can wear just to watch it when im at home for the day or exercising.
They make testers.
Honestly, when you are bad like me or you it's something we already know, and can fix with knowledge we have already.

Shall do, also ausfag (never vaxxed.)

43 yrs old my resting hr stays around 45 but at the same time my blood pressure runs a little high.
how do I measure it?
I've compared my heart rate with a metronome and it sounds like 80bpm, is this accurate?
Can I change my heart rate with a metronome?
Just looked it up, it seems it's 76 a minute
pretty unhealthy
How do I relax my heart bros?
https://scoobyswork.shop/best-fitness-indicator-rhr/
Yes
What is the consensus on very low RHR? I don't even do any cardio, but I notice I feel like fainting when I stand up too fast.
There's some medical condition that involves a very low heart rate. Can't remember the name though.
Bradycardia. I am sitting around 15% bodyfat and cutting right now but when I'm bulking it stays in 40s. I'd like to know the root cause, or if I'm at risk of anything other than fainting.

how does it compare to the tried and true index finger on wrist measurement

adulthood, weekly cardio, lifting hard, weekly alcohol, constant tobacco, 150lbs bodyweight

Your heart beats faster when you're underweight
This goes against conventional wisdom and thus needs elaboration.
Ageing can lower heart rate through that's mostly seen after middle age
I haven't quite made it there yet, I'm still at mid excellent
>resting heart rate is 94 bpm
>26 yo
Should I be worried?
measure it while laying down.
Laying down will trigger your heart to slow down to resting speeds.
Otherwise if you're upright, it will be higher. I'm in the 80s just on my PC. Eating/post-exercise will also affect it.
>usually around 60, lowest was 56
>frequently wake up with my heartbeat in the 90s
why is this the case?
53 on average, Im 29 so Im in Excellent tier.
20km a week jogging plus cycling.
I'm 24 and at 100
Mine is 58
51 at 32
so yes
Are you even IST if your apple watch doesn’t think you’re dying every night?
Fuck it i always thought that having 50 bpm was a bad thing, they said to me that it's called bradycardia...turns out I'm an athlete
20 cigs a day smoker here
80-90 bpm at 20 years old
How to fix?
Quit smoking, do some cardio (nothing exaggerated but be consistent) also go to the doctog and get checked to know if you have some conditions that gets your heart to beat so fast at rest, if you have a cardiac problem you will want to know sooner more then later
