    sometimes it’s water retention related to elevated cortisol levels. your weight loss stalls but you’re still burning fat. the water is just masking it. this tends to happen when you’ve been cutting for long periods with no breaks especially if you’re in a deep deficit and doing rigorous training. a heavy carb refeed or diet break to lower cortisol levels usually does the trick to give you a whoosh effect and drop the water

    Help I struggle a lot trying to loose weight.
    I'm 188cm/ 6'2" and 140kg/ 309lbs at 36% bf.
    Have been lifting for 3 years now and do cardio 3-5 times a week.

    I feel like I have the slowest metabolism ever.
    I slowly reduced my caloric intake from 2700 to 2000 calories over the course of a couple weeks because I wasn't seeing any progress.

    I track every gram of food I consume and do not "re-eat" the calories which I burn during my exercises.
    And I'm still not loosing weight.

    I even went to the doctor to get my blood checked but everything seems fine.

    I don't know what to do anymore.
