Seated Military Barbell Press

I'm doing seated OHP and have lower back pain now.

Are seated Military Barbell presses better than standing ones? Are they worth it in general. Never see guys doing seated ones. Only me

Why would you sit down to lift weights?
    Are you retarded?

Gravity Transformation told me to. And he is my Guru. He included Seated Military Barbell Press in the top 5 compound movements.

Do you just not understand physics?
What is the advantage of doing a seated OHP versus a standing OHP, besides the scoliosis?

Try it gay. See which one is easier. Jesus, this is a lifting board and you autistic gays are too scared to just try a lift for yourself. Here's a program for you:
          neck hanghs x failure.

Bro is complaining about back pain from doing a seated variation of a normally standing exercise
and you tell me to fucking try it, to see how it feels?
            Are you fucking retarded?
Okay, next exercise idea, you take the two heaviest dumbbells you can lift and you lay down on the floor and put the dumbbells on your chest. Once you stop breathing is when the gains begin.

              there,
I must say I put too much weight... If this bar is 20kg, I added additional 15kg and I am a noob.

I managed the sets but my pressing strengths came from my back as well.

            Also
            >Try it gay. See which one is easier.
            >easier
Since when has self-improvement been about what's "easier"?
Doing a sitting OHP is easier than a standing OHP because you don't have to engage the muscles in the lower half of your body
If you're literally fucking disabled and can't stand, yeah, maybe it's an okay exercise if you stick to low weights, but my guy it's so fucking obviously a recipe for back pain it's not even funny

Are you saying it's easier to do while standing? Maybe if you're using your legs to jerk the bar, is that what you've been doing?

That's a fair point, but I also love the imputbof the Anons concerning if there are advantages or disadvantages to seated vs standing.

well standing is the only one people are gonna ask you the numbers over. no one cares about ur sitting 1rm. and its the one used in powerlifting. thats pretty much it.
sitting is gonna let you lift more and you won't have to use back/legs/core as stabilizers so its better for isolating shoulders and hypertrophy.
            anyone else is trolling you

What's next, you gonna do seated running?
Gonna mount the treadmill with your mobility scooter for those epic gains?
