Same bros, I excercise, mediate 30 mins daily, no weed, booze, caffiene or cigarettes, I don't want porn at all
And from 6am until around 1-2pm I am insanely anxious, frequently dissociating + borderline panic attack
I've lost my job now and have become a depressed neet
I used to take SSRIs which worked great, but stopped working about 6 years in, tried every other one since to no avail
Supposed to start EMDR next week and if that doesn't work, I'm roping

I refuse to let myself become agoraphobic, so I still interact with my few friends + family, and if not I walk around town and talk to the cashiers at shops
Usually leads to me dissociating but I force myself to stick it out and keep doing it so it doesn't become worse

oh yeah, also ask a doctor or prescriber for a low dosage of wellbutrin (bupropion). way better than SSRIs, gives you energy, higher libido, helps with weight loss and quitting smoking.

I think they do have a lot of nutrients. I cooked quinoa or something and steamed some vegetables and had two glasses of wine, I felt much better afterwards.

          What's neurofeedback?

            Anonymous

You wear a headset that measures your brain waves and then you do a kind of meditation. The headset gives you positive feedback when you produce brain waves that are associated with good mental states and negative feedback for bad mental states.
I usually watch a YT video and when my brain waves become bad, because I'm unfocussed or something, the screen goes black, then when I snap back the video continues playing normally.
It's very effective for ADHD but it also works for depression and anxiety and I find it much more pleasant than talk therapy, although I do both.

I used to have the same thing.
Now I did a whole bunch of things: got in really good shape, low bodyfat, don't eat inflammatory foods, fixed hairloss and all other insecurities. And then a strong dose of "it is what it is".

The truth is, there is always a reason. You don't just have anxiety because you have anxiety. You need to find that reason.
Now I am completely calm every single day. No problems whatsoever. Also never taken SSRIs or any type of drug.

try boosting your glutathione levels to tolerate caffeine better.

          long story:
          >blast and cruise test
          >entire adult life tolerated caffeine very poorly
          >up till 1am, never eating, anxious etc
          >take milk thistle for liver support cuz test
          >same week reintroduced PWO after 6 months off
          >caffeine is in and out of my system in hours, no crash, just a slow return to baseline
          >in bed at 9pm even if i had a coffee at 1pm

there's more than 1 way to boost glutathione. something to think about. also no, trt does not effect my ability to handle caff, i've tried it several times on it to same effect until also taking milk thistle.

      My theory on my moronation:

      >dad is similar and has OCD + anger issues
      >he physically abuses me as a little guy
      >stuff like the “why you little” Simpsons choke
      >transitions to emotional abuse as I hit puberty
      >berated daily after school
      >even if I do everything right, he’ll find a way to lay into me
      >learn that nothing matters
      >stop trying
      >addicted to vidya for escapism + some of the only positive memories I had with dad as a young kid
      >succeed but underachieve
      >afraid to do more because I know I’ll fail
      >chronic anxiety + depression as a result
I’m mad because I know I could be more, and I try to push towards that. I have a good job, a family, a solid physique, a home, and more, but it’s hard to me to do basic shit sometimes. I just need to keep forcing myself to do the stuff I’m afraid of. Trying to do better for my own kids, mostly.

If you can regularly do a few hours at a time, start there. You can easily clear 15km/9mi in that time.
Sights, sounds, smells, environments, humidities, elevations, etc, the more of these you can include, the better you will feel.

The way a dog will misbehave and turn the house to shit if you dont give it structure, work, relax, and play - your brain is the same. You desperately need the stimulation.

Yes it does. I used to work a job I hated to the core of my heart that destroyed my body as well. One time I fell stomach first on a garbage bin frame and gave myself internal bleeding for month, got my hand sucked into machenry and popped my fingers out, it healed in three months and work just as well today. One time I got a two inch splinter under my eyelid(not in the eye) and my boss saw me trying remove it, he yelled at me for dragging my feet and told me to stop being a b***h. Never went to a doctor as my job had no insurance or any benefit for that manor, so I would just work the pain away, like my dad would say. I held my volcano of seething like a champ and never showed it once while working because I had to work with people and its not fair to make their shitty life any worse, because somehow they were worse off than me. I would bleed from the ass, lungs, and nose daily hoping death would come. When I would get home I would have manic laughing attacks were I would cry from laughing because I realized what a fricking clown I was. That was the only why I know how to cope with pain.

When I quit a month later the bleeding stop and healthy now. I wasted my 20s on a nowhere job. It was so bad that my only copping mechanism lost their fun overtime. So anons don't frick yourself like I did. If you hate something QUIT NOW. If you feel a urge to do something like start a business or hobby, DO IT and don't think. I over analysis every dream which lead me to nothing, because fear of failure would set in, but I failed by not doing it. Also learn how to spot narcissists, he fricked me up was so good that he made me self gas light myself for 9 years.

You can only get a large variety of anti oxidants by eating plants. Getting a lot of a single one turns them into pro oxidants (stress) so no you can just eat animals if you want to combat stress

You definitely should adjust your training routine if you are very stressed. Walking is good, long intense cardio produces a lot of cortisol for a prolonged time. Some people also do well with short HIT, but you should lower your overall load.
Emotional stress is not imaginary though, you can measure the change in stress hormones, real stress always happens in the body, even if it's something we would call psychological.

In theory yes, just enough to stimulate growth hormone.
But is also depends on your goals, I'm not in a position to care about aesthetics at this point, so I just do 2 exercises to failure, twice a week.

It doesnt necessirily kill, but it can heavily disrupt life, and is more common, than moderate smoking or drinking (with those you suffer either from heavy dependancy or genetic weakness and cancers).
    Stress definitely disrupts everything
