      I'm med. It's somewhat rare to hear the term "Mediterranean diet", the diet by itself is rather standard. I can tell you for one that not everybody here adheres to it due to the ever growing fast food industry, along with slop being readily available in supermarkets, but the ones that do rarely ever get any health problems. My grandmother lived to 92, her siblings are still alive at 95. On the other side of my family both grandparents are alive and kicking at 90. Moreover, nobody in my family is fat. The Mediterranean diet is incredibly beneficial for me and my gains, I enjoy my food to the last bite, stay satiated and still hit all my macro and micronutrients. I can also tell you that this chart is bullshit. I'd be more than happy to help you if you have any questions friends

As for fish, mainlanders are used to one serving of fish per week, whereas islanders are much more accustomed to it. Meat is a very integral part of our diet.

          Legumes are what we usually eat for lunch (our largest meal of the day) when not eating meat. Lentils, beans and peas are found on a weekly basis.
          >veggies
          At least one serving of veggies per day, usually as a salad dish with lunch. Lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions and carrots are the most commonly found veggies.
          >fruits
          Also present in our daily diet, most consume them in the afternoon with some yoghurt.

          So in conclusion
          >dairy and eggs with grains as breakfast
          >meat or legumes with veggie salad and bread as lunch
          >fruits with yoghurt in the afternoon
          >dairy and bread for dinner

          That's how my diet looks as well
