I'm med. It's somewhat rare to hear the term "Mediterranean diet", the diet by itself is rather standard. I can tell you for one that not everybody here adheres to it due to the ever growing fast food industry, along with slop being readily available in supermarkets, but the ones that do rarely ever get any health problems. My grandmother lived to 92, her siblings are still alive at 95. On the other side of my family both grandparents are alive and kicking at 90. Moreover, nobody in my family is fat. The Mediterranean diet is incredibly beneficial for me and my gains, I enjoy my food to the last bite, stay satiated and still hit all my macro and micronutrients.
