The higher the gear shift of a bycicle the less it's good for IST.
>Why?
Because u have to use much more muscle power for the same distance when the gear shift is low.

OK nerd
Americans are too angry all the time
a cyclist on a bike lane means its not in the middle of the road
it also means one less car causing traffic
We really live in the endtimes
>before: lovely town, full of life
>after: barren wasteland
Truly is a shame the wrong side won ww2.
looks fake to me
I want to kill every single biker and who ever has been popularizing that stupid ass stroads. I hate you all, my car is freedom. With a car, I can go anywhere.
why are you so mad today, brothee
with a car, you can go straight to hell!
You're a slave to gas prices. This is true freedom.
No. You use the gears to stay in a comfortable rpm, about 60-80.
more like 90, enjoy grinding your knees to dust homosexual
Just get a single speed
gay
>Less maintenance
>Less moving parts
>Perfect for commuting
How am I a gay?
the bigger the truck the bigger the man
the fatter the man the manlier he is
if you bike you are a communist
soul vs soulless
Using drop handlebars on a single-speed so you can practice bending over.
Yeah bro just get some stabilisers and a little pink basket on the front as well
Stabilizers? Are we taking about bicycles or airplanes?
Sorry I forgot I was talking to the colonies.
You call them training wheels I think.
Bri'ish insolence is hilarious
Might as well replace the seat for a dildo since single speed means you live in Cali
You gays have no idea what your talking about, especially the moron who says peddle at 60 rpm. If you want to make gains while cycling he a power meter and use it to track your max power at different intervals, 5 seconds, 1 minute, 10 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour ect. The gear you are in is the gear you can make the sustained effort at 90-100 rpm. This is dependent on things like elevation change, wind ect. If you can max out above 1000 watts and hold 300 for 30 minutes your pretty good.
Low cadence is the most obvious sign of a dyer(do you even ride)
You're fricking moronic if you pedal at 100 rpm. 60 is too low, but 100 is too high. Granted it's depends a bit on the rider, but 70-80 is where it's at.
Your simply wrong. Like it's not even a debate or anything. Look at pro's rides on Strava if you don't believe me. They will average 90+ rpm over a 5 hour tour de france stage. Hour record attempts are usually at like 110 rpm.
Why not just buy a fixie at that point you hipster frick.
Its all about cadence and souplesse, just look at the pro riders.
Kinetic energy is 1/2mv2
The faster you go the more you burn moron
