I don't get it. Can't you just do leg extensions? I can run up the stairs without breaking a sweat and my kicks have become stronger only after 2 months of strength training through leg extension reps. I did up to 5x140kg sets and can 1 rep 180kg. Can you?

if u decide to stand straight some time in the future (no rush, u've got all life left to try it) just try pushing bottom of chest forward, grab empty bar and do some overhead "warmup" squats - i am certain u will feel spinal erector and possibly whole bunch of other stufff IF u are able to peform it at all

The leg extension machine at my gym only goes to 130kg so I started doing unilaterals at 75kg
Yet my squat 1RM with good form is only 115kg
Leg extensions aren't really that impressive
Squat isn't a leg exercise. It's a lower body focused full body exercise.
Is that why starter programs have you do them every workout?

-Hip thrust
-Leg press
-Calf Raises
-Leg Curl
