I do 20kgs for 8 reps and Im far from intermediate irl, only big guys go heavier than me, all normans do literally half of what I do or 70% approx
67kgs bodyweight btw
I'm pretty normal and I usually do seated isolated curls sets of 12 at around 40lbs
>all normans
mfw
your momentum-using leaning non-strict half-rom cheat curls don't count
Yeah I meant the weights are absurdly high. Who the frick does 50kg curls each hand?
This. See zoomers and old heads all the time lift like pic related
with perfect form I can probably do 12-15kg. I almost exclusively do hammer curls though as my biceps are narrow
I look better than 90% of people at the gym and hardly ever curl dumbells over 12 kg
POST website
https://strengthlevel.com
>3 months into lifting
>can do 16-18kg curls
Yeah, it's alright I guess?
High bodyweight and bad form can rocket up those numbers but most people here are lean or leaning down and do the form as good as possible.
I'm 65kg lmao
18kg is absolutely frick all. What's your point?
idk I think I'm heavy so I'm not sure if that's a good weight or not
This website is joke. Need proof? Look at standards for military press vs clean and press. I’ll wait
It just gives you order statistics from the self-reported data of the users. Naturally if its a popular ego lift, ISTsters are going to report very high figures and skew the results.
Strength standards are a meme with data entered by anyone do not take it literally there is no standardised movement , ROM , reps , sets , weight etc
It's random shit spewed out just like this korean basket weaving forum
>Male roider dumbbell curl standards
Is the weight by each hand? Or is it the weight of the barbell?
Each dumbbell or total?
Each dumbbell
You can curl 51kg each hand? Sure thing buddy
>51kg each hand
I said advanced, not elite
I don't even lift yet according to this chart I am "advanced" at curls.
You do not curl 36kg and will like likely never curl 36kg strict form for reps without massive effort, that is advanced, like Schwarzenegger type of weights.
I can curl 35kg cheat curls. I rounded up. Can do 30kg with strict form
I eat shits for breakfast bigger than 51kg
People actually care about how much you lift outside of presses? form>weight
This is definitely not accurate, no one is curling 75s except people who eat roids for breakfast and will die by 40
I've been lifting for ~1 year and can curl 20kg. If you lift for like 10 years I'm sure you can surpass 35kg easily.
Yes, because the older you get the higher your test.
obviously if someone is doing the curls well he's not achieving these numbers. its a big exaggeration.
>There are people on this board who have been lifting for three years or more, and they still can't curl triple digits
ORM?
No reason to curl any heavier than the intermediate level if you're natty bodybuilding.
Can you convert these to American measurements
>curls
I’ve never understood why people do them. Chin-ups are a fantasti…
Oh. I get it
Bro I love chins too, I do them for sets of 5 with a 45-lbs plate and a dip belt, but you still should throw in some curls to grow your biceps. The biggest meme I fell for on this website was the ~2013 era wisdom of “all you need are compound lifts!”. Your size will lag waaay behind your strength if you don’t add in isolation exercises for the muscles you want to grow
what if you arent looking for size, but more of a one punch man physique qnd ability? hyper strength hidden in a better than average fizeek
