Doesn't it work basically like carbohydrates? How the frick does it increase dht unless indirectly through making you want to work out more.

I want to start taking creatine but I like having hair

      Consider the following.

There's gotta be like 1.5lbs of steak worth of creatine on one scoop. I eat about that much meat a day but the people eating fitness food are probably nutrient deficient.

Yeah and no one eats a kg of steak or tuna in a day

Creatine is produced endogenously (by your body) I.e. without supplementation.

You should take a drug to stop this production IMMEDIATELY! You WILL go bald!

      few days
taking like 4g every 12 hrs

you can take it indefinitely, you don't need to cycle it or anything. most people do 5grams a day, although some advise that you should take more the first couple of weeks that you're on it since it has to build up

Its mostly decent lower 2/3rds which gives away the other half, the top of your head should be 1/3rd. Some guys have tall ass foreheads and they look like megamind. Other considerations are the top of your head, should be relatively flat front to back as you can clearly see in your photo.

I dont have any pics but theres that photo that has become a meme of that shirtless guy with a red beard and bald head. Hes shredded but he looks awful. Terrible facial feature and a tall oval top of the head. Maybe someone else can post it.

idk about that honestly, I've never seen a bald guy and thought "oh poor him, he should have kept his hair", examples would be needed

I think in most cases, guys who are ugly bald were already ugly with hair.

Honestly, I only started taking creatine well after I already looked like that, so I couldnt tell you.

Apparently >thescience is inconclusive, but im too much of a brainlet to determine that for myself, just going off what ive heard.

It causing hairloss is a very commonly held belief though for what its worth.

The idea is that creatine is linked to increased DHT production, which is the hormone responsible for male pattern baldness. This only matters if you're already genetically prone to hair loss, though.

It could in theory accelerate the process for someone who was naturally going to lose their hair eventually anyway.

Creatine is a nutrient. The only way to get biologically optimal amounts from food would be to eat over 2 lbs of raw meat every day. Take that into consideration when deciding whether to supplement it.

When I supplement creatine the inside of my nose swells up with the increased water retention (or blood pressure?) and makes it too hard to breathe
Anyone else experience this? I know it's the creatine just from on/off testing

I'm 90% sure this is responsible for my diarrhea, something people should actually be talking about and not the hairloss myth. Not to mention having to double your water intake and piss 10x per day and probably bloating too
